★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really don't understand the high rating of this place. Thinking it would be really good based on the reviews, we just had lunch here: it was terrible. I have never éver had such bad food in Greece. There are so many restaurants with amazing food on Naxos, and this is definitely not one of them.
We had arni fournou, which was supposed to be lamb baked in the oven and is normally a really delicious dish. Well, what was on my plate were 2 small pieces of lamb that I'm entirely sure were boiled(!!), not baked in the oven. It wasn't tender, water from boiling was still coming out and the meat was completely dry and just dead.
We also had mussels in garlic and lemon sauce which was supposed to be a main dish, but there were literally (we counted them) only 10 (!) mussels on the plate. The sauce didn't taste fresh either.
Fine to lay on the beach here or to have drinks with your feet in the sand. But don't eat here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can I give this place 100 Stars?! Ate and drank here twice. Friendly attentive staff. Can eat with sand on your feet. umbrellas and lounge chairs for rent. So peaceful and quiet but close enough to walk from town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here for lunch after a long day spent on the beach. Once again, I am always looking for authentic food, and the menu had some local food. We ordered the kebab, which is always a safe bet. It had the best pita I tried since we visited Greece. We also got the grilled calamari, which was delicious. It came with a lentil mash. I have mixed feelings about it. We also ordered the wine leaves, which to my surprise came as a cold appetizer. It was good, but I had better. The service was ok. The waiter was friendly, but when we wanted to order the check, we waited a while and I had to go to the counter to pay. By that time, I found complementary fruit plate, which was a pleasant surprise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New beach chairs. The Manolas brothers are both excellent. One is a great chef and the other a wonderful host. Last night the spicey chicken was tender, not too spicey and flavorful. Well done 2022 update. Relaxing, great breakfast coffee, fresh real Greek food. The owner works there every day. Best beach taverna...harishto! ⛱:)
