Σε μια καταπληκτικη παραλια περιπου 2 χλμ εκτεινεται ο υγροτοπος των Λεγρενων ..που κατα τις περιοδους μεταναστευσεις μπορει να συναντησεις απο πελαργους και ηρωδιους μεχρι φλαμιγκο και αγριοπαπιες ... Ευτυχως οι ανθρωποι που τον επισκεπτονται ακομα προσεχουν και σεβονται. Θελει ομως καλυτερη ενημερωση του κοινου και αγαπη εθελοντων!! Σε μία στενή λωρίδα γης ανάμεσα από την παραλία και τη Λεωφόρο Αθηνών-Σουνίου βρίσκουν καταφύγιο πολλά πτηνά καθώς και ευδοκιμούν διάφορα είδη αλοφίλων φυτών. Το χειμώνα δημιουργούνται μικρά έλη από τις βροχοπτώσεις. The Coastal Wetland of Legraina has been designated as a Wetland AD Priority protection of the NATURA 2000 Network. In a narrow strip of land between the beach and Athens-Sounio Avenue, many birds find shelter and various species of halophilous plants thrive. In winter, small swamps are created by rainfall.

Η περιοχή όλη έχει υποστεί τεράστια διάβρωση υποβάθμιση από λύματα καθώς κ διαρροές του κεντικού αγωγού της ΕΥΔΑΠ. Αυτή τη στιγμή συμβαίνει μια τέτοια τεράστια διαρροή. Σπάνια καθαρίζεται δεν υπάρχουν κάδοι οπότε ούτε λόγος για οικολογικό πάρκο. Περισσότερο φέρει τα χαρακτηριστικά βάλτου γεμάτου με επικίνδυνα έντομα για τη δημόσια υγεία. Ως μόνιμοι κάτοικοι κάνουμε τεράστιες προσπάθειες για αναβάθμιση του αλλά δυστυχώς οι ανωτέρω εξωτερικοί παράγοντες επιβαρύνουν συνεχώς την περιοχή. Αποδημητικά πουλιά και μη υπήρχαν στην περιοχή πριν μια 10ετια. Στη σημερινή του μορφή ο χώρος φιλοξενεί μόνο φίδια επικίνδυνα έντομα κ απορρίμματα. As permanent residents we are making enormous efforts to upgrade, but unfortunately these external factors are constantly burdening the area. Migratory birds and there were not in the area 10 years ago. In its present form the site hosts only snakes of dangerous insects and wastes.
