★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πρόκειται για το παρεκκλήσι του Ορφανοτροφείου θηλέων “Μέγας Αλέξανδρος” το οποίο ιδρύθηκε το 1934, για να στεγάσει τα ορφανά κορίτσια που έφτασαν στη Θεσσαλονίκη μετά τη μικρασιατική καταστροφή και σταμάτησε να λειτουργεί το 2000, όταν οι λιγοστές τρόφιμοι που είχαν απομείνει μεταφέρθηκαν στο ορφανοτροφείο “Μέλισσα”.
This is the chapel of the "Alexander the Great" Orphanage, which was founded in 1934, to house the orphaned girls who arrived in Thessaloniki after the Asia Minor catastrophe and ceased operations in 2000, when the few remaining inmates were transferred to the "Orphanage" ”.
