★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το πάρκο Γεώργιος Αποστολάκης εγκαινιάστηκε το 2013 και πήρε το όνομα του από τον αείμνηστο και πολυαγαπημένο στην περιοχή Γεώργιο Αποστολάκη (1964-2010). Διετέλεσε δήμαρχος στη Νέα Χαλκηδόνα την περίοδο 2007 - 2010.
Είναι ένα από τα λίγα πάρκα του δήμου Νέας Φιλαδέλφειας - Νέας Χαλκηδόνας όπου γίνεται σοβαρή προσπάθεια από το δήμο για τη συντήρηση του, κάτι που οι πολίτες και οι επισκέπτες δεν φαίνεται να συμμερίζονται αφού συχνά πυκνά δέχεται επεμβάσεις ανακατασκευής και συντήρησης.
Βρίσκεται στο χώρο του παλιού στρατιωτικού εργοστασίου στο νότιο τμήμα του δήμου.
Δίπλα του διαθέτει μεγάλο, μη φυλασσόμενο, δωρεάν δημοτικό πάρκινγκ που συχνά γίνεται στόχος παράνομων ενεργειών όπως κλοπές και εμπρησμών, αυτοκινήτων και μηχανών.
Είναι πρόσφατα ανακατασκευασμένο με χλοοτάπητα που έχει υπόγειο πότισμα, υπαίθρια όργανα γυμναστικής και παιχνίδια σύγχρονων προδιαγραφών για τους μικρούς μας φίλους στην παιδική χαρά.
The park Georgios Apostolakis was inaugurated in 2013 and took its name from the late and much loved in the area Georgios Apostolakis (1964-2010). He served as mayor of Nea Chalkidona in the period 2007 - 2010.
It is one of the few parks in the municipality of New Philadelphia - New Chalkidona where a serious effort is made by the municipality for its maintenance, something that citizens and visitors do not seem to share as it often receives reconstruction and maintenance interventions.
It is located on the site of the old military factory in the southern part of the municipality.
Next to it is a large, unguarded, free municipal car park that is often the target of illegal activities such as theft and arson, cars and motorcycles.
It is newly renovated with a lawn that has underground watering, outdoor gym equipment and games of modern standards for our little friends in the playground.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice open spot in an otherwise crowded space. There are some rudimentary toys for children, but nothing organized. If you want to enjoy your coffee on a sunny day, you can get it either from the kiosk which is nearby, or the big mall across the street
