The Paros kite pro center is the second kitesurf location on pounta beach. I have 15 years of kitesurf experience and was planning to continue teaching my girlfriend. Because I was first thinking there was only one kiteschool I walked into the Paros kite pro center to inform about the rescue boat. The manager constantios asked me what our level was and we honestly told that my girlfriend has good kite control and that she needs to improve her waterstart. He then told me in a very unpleasant way that she could not get the rescue boat service and that she had to take minimum two lessons. Eventually she took 3 lessons both most of the time she was struggling because of the gusty offshore wind conditions. There are two problems I have with this kiteschool: - First of all the kite beach is split in two parts. The first part is of the first kiteschool which has side shore wind. The second part starts from the point it gets offshore wind and which is the part of the Paros kite pro center. The conditions of the offshore wind part are not suitable to teach students. The wind is gusty which can cause your kite to drop into the water and is difficult to relaunch in that situation. The first part of the beach is much better to learn kitesurfing in a safe way. - My second problem with this school is the behavior of the manager. I fully understand that the rescue boat is not a pickup ferry which will continuously comes to pick you up. But not providing the rescue boat service to us forced us to take lessons since I will not take the risk in case something goes wrong that my girlfriend drifts offshore. How different was it when we went to the first kiteschool. Super friendly, told us the rescue boat is not a pickup service. And we didn’t need to pay anything, we just had to show which kite we were using so they would keep an eye on us.

Terrible experience. I needed a simple rescue which cost 70 euro! When arrived to the beach the owner aggressively took my board and rudely said you will get it back after you pay. Not the way to treat people, not a good vibe, just bad service and attitude. Do yourselves a favor and stay away.

Friendly people but not the best atmosphere . Music would be great and a relaxed spot.

Instead of motivating you he makes you feel insecure to sell more overpriced lessons. The Instructor was good but it feels like he was getting drilled to sell more lessons.

The best kite spot I have ever been. Konstantinos and his team (John, Max,...) have been amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Well organized school with superior kites (loved the Core kites). We will come back for sure ????

Very nice kite center. The owner and his crew were super friendly. We had our own kite equipment with us and just needed to boards. Very uncomplicated even if you don’t have your kite license with you. Would definitely recommend it ! After your session you can sit there and enjoy some food and drinks. Looking forward to come back.
