Accueillants et chaleureux ils sont de dignes représentants de la communauté AIRBNB que nous représentons nous aussi en France. Chez eux le sourire et l'accueil sont des réflexes ! Ils aiment le partage et la découverte et parlent couramment, l'un le français, l'autre l'anglais... et le grec forcément ! Les deux locations sont superbes, (soit une chambre / soit deux chambres / de 4 à 6 places possibles) luxueuses et décorées avec goût, bien plus que de simples locations de vacances et pourtant à des tarifs très abordables ! La plage est à 10 minutes en voiture, en centre ville mais il y aussi les plages sauvages du Magne qui sont magnifiques (à découvrir à la journée pour un superbe circuit sur la route côtière). De tous côtés le Péloponèse s'offre à nous: Sparte mais aussi Messini (ancienne cité à visiter), Koroni ...que de choix ! KALAMATA est une ville dynamique, en plein boum, des vols directs en été permettent de s'y rendre très vite de Lyon par exemple, en moins de trois heures nous y sommes. L'arrivée en bâteau est également très sympa, en débarquant à PATRAS ou IGOUMÉNITSA, si on veut avoir la voiture pour les vacances et sillonner la côte. Ils débutent dans la location (février 2017) mais nul doute qu'ils aient beaucoup de succès... il va falloir réserver à l'avance ! Patricia and her little family are great hosts! Welcoming and warm, they are worthy representatives of the AIRBNB community that we also represent in France. At home, smiling and welcoming are reflexes! They love sharing and discovery and speak fluently, one French, the other English ... and Greek of course! The two rentals are superb, (either one bedroom / or two bedrooms / from 4 to 6 places possible), luxurious and tastefully decorated, much more than just vacation rentals and yet at very affordable rates! The beach is 10 minutes by car, in the city center, but there are also the wild beaches of Mani which are magnificent (to discover during the day for a superb circuit on the coastal road). From all sides the Peloponnese is open to us: Sparta but also Messini (ancient city to visit), Koroni ... what a choice! KALAMATA is a dynamic city, booming, direct flights in summer allow you to get there very quickly from Lyon for example, in less than three hours we are there. The arrival by boat is also very nice, disembarking at PATRAS or IGOUMÉNITSA, if you want to have the car for the holidays and travel the coast. They are new to rentals (February 2017) but there is no doubt that they are very successful ... you will have to book in advance!
