Local soap company still family-owned after a few generations, worth a visit while in Corfu Town. The current owner is very knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about the history of soap making. The front part of the shop carries the line with a few olive oil based products. The back is the drying and curing stations along with the manufacturing vats (both an old wooden one and a modern steel one). Visitors are encouraged to visit the back and we luckily bumped into the owner who had his team show us how they stamped and cut the bars as well as the drying stations outside for the flakes used for creating laundry soaps. Friendly staff and really cool to see the transformation on a multi-generational business that still operates and thriving!

Great experience! Also very educational on Joe soap was made, and what goes in soap. We happened to walk in shortly before a tour was starting so I would recommend researching or calling to find the tour schedule. The owner showed of the manufacturing process and told us about each kind of soap they make. This is as much a museum as a factory.

What a fantastic shop. We learned the history of the company and how they make soap today. I was very impressed. I just wished we could buy it in the U.S. or even online.

Amazing place, you feel like you go back in time... it has been a family business for 5 generations, everything is super raw and natural and traditional, even the packaging. The owner is a super nice guy who gave us a wonderful presentation about their soaps and the history. Unfortunately, they normally have tours of the factory but now because of covid it’s not allowed. Their soaps are all natural and made mostly from olive oils... they have different types... for the face, body/hair, with more lather, or for laundry. There’s other products too like essential oils and artisan soap dishes. Must stop there while in town!

lovely free tour provided by the owner. This place looks very simple and for some very worn out, but it preserves the tradition and the old soap melting canisters that look very old. The factory preserves the old soapmaking tradition (recipe and manual processing). Great hidden gem.

Really interesting old, artisanal soap factory. The owner is extremely friendly, explains everything and seems to really love what he is doing. He runs guided tours, too, upon request and sometimes at fixed times (but one should call ahead, as it will change with demand). Definitely worth a visit if you like these types of places.

Very interesting to hear the history and see how the soap is made. You are able to purchase the soap in the on site shop, look out for the little packs which make great little gifts to take home

We found this little treasure near the end of our holiday in Corfu. We managed to get on the "booking only" daily tour, which was so interesting. The business has been around for generations and is still making soap in the same building, in the same way, using the same moulds as the first batch all those years ago. Great experience and the soap's pretty good too! Thoroughly recommend it
