Positive: Totally family run. Breakfast & evening meal all fresh & again prepared & cooked by the family. Lovely cakes & pastries. Some vegetables grown in their garden. Greek delicacies. Very Covid aware precautions taken. Superb cleanliness. Such friendly staff. A pleasure to stay there.. Negative: Perhaps handrails by the tiled steps leading to upstairs apartments. Only the side walls to help climb. But I am over 70 so probably didn’t worry others..

Just a fairy-tale place! From buildings surrounded by wonderful plants, through great food, comfortable apartments, to amazing, wonderful people. We've got a very warm welcome and this was the case throughout our stay. Thank you, Paul and Marie, we hope to come back to you again! Greetings from Sabina and Andrzej from Poland! :)

Positive: Very nice location, especially the breakfast area. Clean room and friendly staff. The balcony is big and perfect to chill out. the flowers make a very welcome place Good value quality /price. Negative: Could be noisy, next by our room was the swimming pool from the nearest hotel and was noisy during the evening, kids were swimming at 11-12 in the night. Some unpleasant smell from the bathroom drainage.

Positive: The property is beyond beautiful. The blooming flowers everywhere are superb, the balcony with the flowers, the window with view to flowers, just lovely. The room is clean and very nice, has pretty much everything needed. It could have been a plus if it had a hair drier, but it was ok anyway. The food at dinner was very good. Great for vegetarians too. The breakfast was good for non-vegetarians and people who like gems and sweet foods. But for vegans who don't like sweet that much there are not so many options..

We were here on vacations with wife. We found the hotel exceptional. Everything (almost) met or exceeded our expectations. Staff: Paul and Marie are really into provide super cool service, answer all questions, suggest best options, fit environment to our need and more. They are almost magicians - I'm wondering if I had a question or request that Paul could not satisfy in a one click. Rooms: clean, cozy. Let's just point our - it is not 5 star hotel, but they don't state so. Rooms are not sparkling, but there is everything needed in place. Small kitchen to cook something, fine beds, plastic furniture on a balcony. Foooood: we had breakfasts and dinners. I have never imagined there could be such a big variety of dishes from, frankly speaking, limited amount of products. Sure you couldn't found lobster, but all meat, poultry, fish, vegetables was 101% fresh and tasty and "not-over- something" - not too salty, not too spicy, not overcooked. Bravo to chief! :) However, there is a option to order something from menu, we were absolutely fine with open buffet. Drinks: special thanks for nice quality of cocktails. Area: clean and not too-smelling pool. I believe area was enough for number of guests. No overcrowded. We were lucky - all around families were extremely polite and nice, so no problems / conflicts appeared around sound, or misbehave. Meanwhile, some points of growth (nobody is perfect, and I think it's fine): - room wi-fi quality. we planned to have several working days during our vacation. lobby wi-fi was excellent all the time, but several days it was not possible to work from room. - sockets. the hotel is built long time ago and I understand that. furniture is up to date, but I assume it's not so easy to improve eclectic web. so, we were struggling with all our devices charging, while there were only 2 sockets (+1 for fridge, off course). note: there was multiplicator, but over the night it was blocked by anti-mosquito tool.

We had the most wonderful time at Paul Marie. The hotel is even more beautiful than it looks on the pictures. Marie and Paul are the perfect hosts, the staff is very friendly and the food (the mother is cooking) is just devine. Our room was small but completely sufficient with a wonderful terrace covered with flowers. The room had no TV - but who needs that in Crete ? The beach, a supermarket and other bars and restaurants are just around the corner. Make sure to take some of the olive oil home, paul and maries family produces. It's the best I ever tasted. Speaking of which: The snacks at the pool are also great. We normally don't travel to the same place two times. But this time, I'm tempted. Thank you so much Marie, Paul and your family and friends working at your beautiful place.

Positive: We had the most wonderful stay at Paul & Marie. Leading up to the holiday I had asked. Number of questions regarding the room etc & the response time was brilliant. Upon arrival to the hotel we were greeted by Paul who was most welcoming. We were taken to the room & left in the fridge for us was 2 plates of food. We hadn’t had chance to eat anything so this was much appreciated. The room was really spacious with a big wrap round balcony we loved it. The room was cleaned regularly and anything we needed Paul & Marie were very hospitable. The thing I liked most about this hotel was the little touches. The gardens are beautiful & have lovely pink flowers everywhere. The food is really good and I especially appreciated the home cooked cakes & deserts. Most of all we loved the pool area it was lovely and quiet always really clean and they make the best mojitto I had whilst in Crete. If you are looking for a nice relaxing stay in a beautiful family run hotel then I would definitely recommend staying here.
