PaxosBlue Suites and Villas - Gaios Paxos Island

Absolutely stunning place with amazing view and the best host you could imagine! We will come back.

Apartment is beautiful with a great view to the sea. Direct access to the sea. Host is very professional, always available when needed and make you to feel at home.

We stayed at the Paxosblue Sea view apartments (Nostos), which had one room, a bathroom and a pool in the garden. We enjoyed our stay, however we felt the apartment was both over advertised and overpriced at 160 euros per night (end of july to beginning of august). The apartment is quiet, though outside of Gaios requiring a 15 – 20 min walk to the center. The sea is visible from the apartment but the coastline and port are not, which is contrast to the statement on the website “Overlooking the port of Gaios, PaxosBlue is located at the island’s most privileged position, and its apartments magically combine tranquility and luxury with breathtaking views.” The apartment itself is very basic, and the bathroom appliances did not seem very sturdy and a curtain for the window was missing. We had to ask for basic things and sometimes repeatedly. The website should be corrected and statements toned down in respect to the location and view, the service and facilities should either be improved or the price substantially lowered.

We spent 4 nights in these lovely homes even though we were planning for just 2. Both Stamatis who was present & willing to help us with everything imaginable we needed and his wife Konstadina by phone were more than amazing to interact with. Swimming pool had views to the sea. The owner was extremely helpful. Private and quiet garden. There was a beautiful family of cats coming to our garden every day. They were so cute! The apartment had everything we needed. It was an amazing stay.

Misleading photos and untruthful property manager. We stayed at this property June 28-July 1, as soon as it opened for the season, and the property was a mess and the manager blatantly lied about the status of the facilities. We speak fluent Greek so there is no chance that there was miscommunication. First of all we asked to verify that the pool was open and that the kids could use it. If there was no pool, we weren’t booking. The manager said the pool was operational and for our use until July 1, our departure. When we arrived and until we left, the pool was covered with a green tarp and didn’t even have water in it. We were given an excuse that they were waiting for a permit in account of new standards related to coronavirus, but no explanation as to why she lied in the first place. The first night we stayed at a suite by the water which had a nice view but the bed smelled musty, and upon arrival the kids’ bed had loose dirt on the sheets. The manager was dismissive the first time about the dirt and said “oh it must have fallen from the ceiling). The sheet was changed, but in the evening the dirt appeared again with rat droppings. It became clear that there was a rat in the ceiling causing dirt and droppings to fall through the wooden slats onto the bed. Water pressure was so low that we could hardly shower, and I spent a day killing millipedes and other bugs until we switched rooms. Additionally, there was construction waste everywhere and my husband got a flat tire while parking in the parking spot in front of the room from one of the many nails littered accross the parking. The following day we moved to a different room in an apartment building which was much better and didn’t smell musty, but the apartment is old. It has a few newer touches and nice beds which leave one feeling like they have been victims of a good photographer. The bathrooms had water pressure but they smelled bad and were essentially open wet rooms. Every time we tried to open the door to the room sick looking stray cats would try to run in. It was impossible to sit on the balcony on account of the cats, especially with food (and we are big animal lovers). Finally, the property was filled with cardboard boxes from things brought from the mainland for all of the days we were there and construction waste. There was a car seat, shower nozzle, tools, construction waste and boxes with cleaning products and more by the front gate the entire time we were there. It was frustrating and disappointing for us, but even more so, the manager’s approach made us concerned that a tourist may fall victim to this “bad Greek tourism“ and think that the approach is the norm rather than the unfortunate exception.

We visited Paxos 2 weeks ago, when we arrived to PaxosBlue Suites and Villas the place seems to be under renovation we arrived around 10 am and walked around the property to look for someone to welcome us, no one was there after 30 min we went to next property to ask if they can help us, and call someone. After 15 min some guy arrived. There is no need to mention that the room wasn't ready. The room was full with spider nets and the toilet was dirty. The guy said that lady will come to clean the room. We did left our stuff and went to travel when we back all the floor was wet and the room was full of mosquitoes there was no one around we tried to call the number that the guy gave us but it was wrong number so we decided to cancel the reservation from booking app. The owner charge us for the full amount we tried to contact him via whatsapp and booking chat but he didn't answer Horrible hospitality!!! Do yourself a favor and don't go there!

We fell in love with the website pictures but where dissapointed when we booked and got there. Location and seaview are nice even as the bed. The rest of the appartment was far away from the website pictures. Kitchen and bathroom old and totally not worth the money they ask. We will never book it again. It's a pitty.
