Εκείνες τις μέρες η πόλη της Θήβας σφύζει από ζωή! Εκατοντάδες έμποροι στήνουν τις πραμάτειες τους (είδη ένδυσης – υπόδησης, κοσμήματα, είδη οικιακής χρήσης, CD, λουκουμάδες, χαλβά, κουδούνια και παραδοσιακά είδη δώρων, βιβλία κ.λ.π.) στα παραπήγματα που κατασκευάζει ο Δήμος στην πόλη μας και χιλιάδες δημότες και επισκέπτες έχουν την ευκαιρία να βρουν προϊόντα σε πολύ καλές τιμές! Επίσης αυτές τις μέρες δεσπόζει στην πόλη μας το έθιμο της γουρουνοπούλας. Οι περισσότερες ταβέρνες και εστιατόρια της Θήβας προσφέρουν γουρουνοπούλα στη σούβλα!!!
