★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very lovely bar with tasty snacks and good greek food. Very good Coffee!! The owner is super nice and friendly! Kids are welcome. Relaxing in a hammock or under the trees gives a paradies feeling. We're coming back :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is beautiful with enough natural shade, but I felt like they were to much business orientated. They don't serve large beer (small they charge the same price as big)they ask you very often if you would like to order more, they even asked me if I want to tip when I was paying with a card?! Never had that situation before. But still, they are kind, their beach is one of most beautiful on the north.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid the bartender by all means - consistently grumpy and negative about everything every day (might ruin your day and overall experience, honestly!), other than that - a great place to relax with your friends and children. A very cheerful lady that takes orders is fantastic and makes you feel very welcome, so overall experience kinda balances out at the end. Beach is rocky but overall a very nice place to enjoy the Sun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hat a wonderful time at Pelekanos. During our one week stay on Crete, we decided to go here twice because we had such a good time. Janis, the owner, made us great dinner (Eggplant special - our favourite) with the best Tzaziki on the island. After a long, hot day on the beach it feels great to sit here under the trees.
To finish our great meal, we obviously had some Raki (for digestion of course ;) )
We can really recommend this place for it‘s authentic, delicious food and friendly owner. Also, the prices are really good (typical for Greece)
Short Info: We went during the Corona pandemic and felt really safe here. The service was always wearing an FPP II mask and keeping their distance when possible. We stayed at the PEPPER Sea Club Hotel and walked along the beach for about 35 minutes to get here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We almost never go to the same place twice. And we came here two days in a row.
AMAZING relaxing place. Another review said they didn’t have large beers however we did get a large bottle here yesterday. So perhaps they were out of stock at the time. I found the prices to be the same as other places here ans near Chania. They had some tables and hammocks for free - only charging foe the beach umbrellas.
And of course the food was authentic and delicious.
They have a side that is very quiet and another with some music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very quiet place, nice beach and restaurant/pub area. Staff was very polite and professional, prices were at the average for Crete, I think; salad, chicken fillet, sausages, three coffees, shake were at 49 euros. Sun needs are free if you have an order of drink or food. Food was good. We did, however, had a funny feeling after the meal but not sure what from ?
