Go to the terrace on the top floor in the night and have a beer while looking at the "skyline" of Skiathos...is something great

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The toilet is drippy, ventilation is poor, and the ambiance is lacking to say the least.
It's unbearably loud. Constant noise from the other guests, doors slamming, plumbing, late into the night.
Stay away if you value the concept of sleep.
Upside: It's cheap.
Downsides: The building, rooms, and other guests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although there was a free transfer from the airport and a beautiful roof terrace, the room simply was not clean. There was dirt on the shower walls (human I think) and the shower water was only tepid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good for overnight. Very nice staff. Rooms are kind of "monk-like"--two single beds, a small desk, a/c, adequate bathroom. Fantastic view from roof, where morning coffee (free) and breakfast (7 euros) is served. Free pickup at airport.

Rooms are a little small and old-dated but more than within reason for the low price.
Great location in Skiathos city- 5/7 minutes to the harbour

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved staying at Pension Margarita. We got a double room in May for a great price and were so happy with our choice to stay here! The room was basic but spotless and had the BEST view of the town from the balcony in our room. Even better still was the roof terrace which had a view across Skiathos town including the sea and the sunset. The kitchen was handy too so we made food ourselves and ate it with the view. Giannis and his mum were both so friendly and welcoming. Stay here if you come to Skiathos!
