★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place that was recommended to me by the Pelops Hotel! Went there after visiting the archaeological museums and the sanctuary. The tzaziki with pita, and the chicken gyros were delicious (absolutely massive portions, perfect after a day of travelling and sight seeing), the service quick, super friendly, and helpful. The housewine was nice and refreshing. I felt very welcome, and the place has a relaxed and authentic atmosphere.
Additionally, if you are looking for vegetarian and/or vegan food, you will have lots of options that are clearly indicated on the menu (I had a taster of the hummus and it was so. good.).
Prices are more than decent, so if you are looking for a place with great Greek food, nice people, and you don't want to break the bank, Pheidias is a great choice in the centre of ancient Olympia.

Large portions; packed the chicken gyros to go. Ordered the some Tzatziki to start and they gave us a complimentary sample of their house hummus and eggplant spread, the latter was excellent—better than baba ganoush.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 100% recommend if you are staying in Olympia area. This great place was only opened this year and is run by a kind and wholesome person. The food exceeded our expectations - we had chicken gyros, meatballs with feta cheese and gyros pizza. Everything was prepared fresh and on the spot for us and served with smile and generosity of portion sizes. The prices were reasonable and quite cheap in comparison to some other places in the area that don't provide the same level of high quality service.
On the side note - the owner adopted a dog that was left behind by a group of tourist and now it acts as a small attraction to those visiting. We LOVED the dog. She was well taken care of, calm and sweet and accompanied us all the way to the end of our meal without begging for food even once.
Great place run by great people. Highly recommended ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Welcoming restaurant at the Town centre of Olympia. Ordered BBQ fish served with lemon (flakes off easily and well cooked even though it was BBQ. Tastes good with the crispy skin), Pheidias salad (greens, tomatoes, croutons, grilled chicken, olive oil and salad dressing) and a chicken wrap. Delicious and full lunch for a family of 4.
Friendly and considerate staff who took the extra effort to fillet the fish and separate out the chicken wrap for sharing. Thank you for the complimentary pita bread with 2 different dressings. It was yummy!!
