A very good place to eat in Loutraki. Excellent lamb chops

By far the best food in town, one of top 5 in all Greece. The owners are extremly nice and friendly, we always feel like being part of the family as well. For me it is the sixth year in Loutraki and this is still my favourite place, just love it ❤️

Food fresh and very nice! People amazing as well

Service was average: waiter was in a such hurry to serve another client that didn't even ask for what I prefer to drink. House red wine was terrible: like a cheap average one you can find in any supermarket. Moussaka was cold. Hey, can you at least warm your food for client if it was cooked in advance?! There were pieces of carrot in dzadziki and too much garlic! Are you serious?! I guess, you're the one and only tavern where carrot is put into dzadziki!!!! I came with friends, who just arrived, and we were very dissappointed. It's not tavern, it's a parody - canteen with a prices like in tavern.

Food is not good but quite expensive. Musakas was made few hours before served. I have no idea why this place is rated so highly

We went to Loutraki for a week and got recommendations for dining at Philip's tavern. Although it was close to the accommodation, we found it quite difficult because it was written in Greek. Of course, after looking for a few minutes at where the place might be, we remembered what we learned in high school in math, about Greek letters, and we were able to realize that it was in front of us (it was entertaining). We took a seat at a table on the terrace and a tall, beautiful young lady came to us with a serious voice and guided us on the menu. I ordered something from the menu. At first we weren't very impressed. However, we returned the next day and noticed with interest what the other diners ordered - locals who eat there every day (knowledgeable about the menu). And so we ended up eating some of the best traditional Greek dishes - grilled lamb ribs, freshly fried fish, stuffed vegetables. Tasty salads should not be forgotten. Congratulations to the cooks - skillful, pleasant and beautiful. Of course we accompanied the food with local drinks - beer, wine, ouzo. We talked to the owners - the mother and the two daughters - and so we found out that it is a family business, with tradition. Thank you for your kindness, promptness and very tasty food. It must be said that the prices are more than reasonable. Certainly, if we get to Loutraki - which we want - we will visit you and have a nice dinner at your tavern. Unbelievable! This is a fantastic place. The food is authentic and good. You have the traditional Greek cuisine or you could order something from the grill. Don't miss out and don't come too late, because the locals like the food as well. Bon appetit.
