J	Julie S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A friend selected this restaurant for an early breakfast after an overnight ferry. An old establishment, it sits in a small square overlooking a fountain. Great place to grab a seat, delicious food, relax and people watch. Menu is quite extensive - at least pastries and offerings for breakfast as that’s what we had. Known for their pastry and bougatsa! It was served fresh & warm. Breakfast omelettes and morning combos are hearty. Overall delicious food and high quality. We spent a little over €40 for 3 persons with 2 drinks each, 2 omelettes, a bougatsa and then a breakfast combo. Worth the value and the really great service. The staff is extremely warm and friendly.

G	G R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We mostly came here for drinks during the day. We always decided to sit upstairs on the balcony, which has a nice view overlooking the square and the fountain. The drinks and snacks are good and prices are good also. The staff are friendly and you’ll always receive some complimentary snacks with your drinks. The only downside for us was the slow service, as the staff does not frequent the upstairs area.

It is one of the few places around that opens up at 6am already - which is very convenient if you arrive by ferry in the morning. We really enjoyed our time here. The cafe is placed at a nice square with a fountain, has an outdoor area and two seating areas inside. Good experience all around :)!

Nevertheless, very fair prices and very good and friendly advice on the choice of food and a completely friendly service team. Had a perfect coffee and some nice and typical sweets of Crete here. Full recommendation!
