 A nice place to take a break and of course a picnic. With tables, benches between the trees and an amazing view!

Very nice location. Big forest with a lot of people big trade fair lots of gourmet skewers beer beers etc

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πανέμορφο μέρος για οικογενειακή εκδρομή, για πικ-νικ που λεν' και στο χωριό μ' ?
Και για τρέξιμο, για ποδηλασία εντός ή εκτός δρόμου, καταπληκτική επιλογή, όλες τις εποχές του χρόνου. Προσοχή μονο, τα πυκνά πεσμένα φύλλα του φθινοπώρου γλιστράνε. Επίσης, αν φύγεις από τους δύο κεντρικούς δρόμους που διασχίζουν το δάσος αυτό (τη Μικρή Κάπελη, γιατί τη Μεγάλη θα της βρεις παρακάτω στο χάρτη ως Δάσος Φολόης) δεν υπάρχει σήμανση και χάνεσαι εύκολα. Η φτέρη καλύπτει όλο το έδαφος. Σημ.: ποτάμι δεν υπάρχει σε αυτό το δάσος, ούτε ίχνος πηγής. Γιατί κάποιες φωτογραφίες δείχνουν ποτάμι, μάλλον από το Δάσος της Φολόης...

And for running, for cycling on or off the road, amazing choice, all seasons. Beware only, the dense fallen leaves of autumn slip. Also, if you leave the two main roads that cross this forest (Mikri Kapeli, because you will find Megali below on the map as Foloi Forest) there is no signage and you get lost easily. The fern covers the whole ground. Note: there is no river in this forest, no trace of a spring. Because some photos show a river, probably from the Forest of Foloi ...
