★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μαρεσει που την βαθμολογείτε και με τρία αστέρια κιόλας. Τι βαθμολογείτε παιδιά; Μια παρατημένη πλατεία με σκουριασμένα παιχνίδια; Ντροπή για την πόλη μας να αφήνουμε σημεία σε τέτοια κατάσταση. Πολύ κρίμα.
 It fades when you rate it with three stars. What do you rate guys? An abandoned square with rusty toys? Shame on our city for leaving points in such a state. Too bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μικρή και γραφική πλατεία, πάνω και δεξιά από την πλατεία Υψηλών Αλωνίων και τα συγκροτήματα Σχολείων. Πήρε το όνομά της από τον Πρόξενο της Αγγλίας Θωμά Βουδ (Thomas Wood, 1816-1894), ο οποίος ήρθε στην Πάτρα ως σταφιδέμπορος το 1843 και από το 1850 διέμενε στην έπαυλή του στην τωρινή πλατεία. Δεν διασώζεται τίποτα σχετικό.
Σήμερα η πλατεία παρουσιάζει σημάδια υποβάθμισης.
Small and picturesque square, above and to the right of Ypsilon Alonia square and the School complexes. It took its name from the Consul of England Thomas Wood (1816-1894), who came to Patras as a raisin merchant in 1843 and from 1850 lived in his mansion in the current square. Nothing relevant is saved.
Today the square shows signs of degradation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μία απλή πλατεία με ένα άγαλμα, και ένα περίπτερο. Υπάρχουν και μερικά δεντράκια. Στη γύρω περιοχή υπάρχουν μαγαζιά για φαγητό και ψώνια. Σαν πλατεία δεν θα έλεγα ότι είναι ασφαλείς για παιδιά μιας που και δεν υπάρχουν προστατευτικά και είναι δίπλα στη Γούναρη, δρόμο με μεγάλη κίνηση. Για κάποιον που θέλει να χαλαρώσει είναι προτιμότερο να πάει στα Υψηλά Αλώνια που είναι πέντε λεπτά περπάτημα από εκεί.
A simple square with a statue, and a pavilion. There are also some trees. In the surrounding area there are shops for food and shopping. As a square I would not say that they are safe for children since there are no guards and it is next to Gounari, a road with a lot of traffic. For someone who wants to relax it is better to go to Ipsila Alonia which is a five minute walk from there.
