Ένας επισκέπτης μπορεί να βρει ότι ζητά.
Nice large square in the city center, almost connected to the main pedestrian street, a number of shops around it.
A visitor can find what he is asking for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μέχρι πριν λίγο καιρό, το φανάρι στην πλατεία δε λειτουργούσε, λόγω των διαβάσεων που έχουν στην πόλη των Σερρών. Όμως δε βάζουμε μυαλό. Αναγκάστηκαν να θέσουν ξανά σε λειτουργία το φανάρι, γιατί ο κόσμος περνούσε από... παντού! Και έτσι παλι από παντού περνάνε, αλλά αν κάποιος πεταχτεί και γίνει ατύχημα δε θα φταίει μόνο ο οδηγός, αλλά και ο πεζός!!!!
Until recently, the traffic light in the square did not work, due to the crossings in the city of Serres. But we do not mind. They had to turn on the traffic light again, because people were passing by ... everywhere! And so again they pass everywhere, but if someone is thrown and an accident happens, it will not only be the driver's fault, but also the pedestrian's !!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Κλασική παραδοσιακή πλατεία με παρκάκι , της ελληνικής κωμόπολης που χαρακτηρίζεται ως φοιτητούπολη.
Έχει κάποια αξιοθέατα να δείτε στη γύρω περιοχή όπως το μουσείο και πολλά καφέ που σερβίρουν τη παραδοσιακή μπουγάτσα .
Προβληματική στο θέμα πάρκιγκ .
Classic traditional square with a small park, in the Greek town that is characterized as a student town.
It has some attractions to see in the surrounding area such as the museum and many cafes serving traditional bougatsa.
Problematic in the matter of parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η δεύτερη πλατεία της πόλης των Σερρών, παραμελημένη απο τους δημοτικούς άρχοντες. Χρήζει σοβαρών παρεμβάσεων (δεντροφύτευση, περισσότερο πράσινο, δημόσιες τουαλέτες, παγκακια, free wi fi και σίγουρα νέες κυκλοφοριακες ρυθμίσεις) . Τα πεντε αστέρια αφορούν μόνο στο συναισθηματικό και νοσταλγικό κομμάτι.
The second square of the city of Serres, neglected by the mayors. It needs serious interventions (tree planting, more green, public toilets, benches, free wi fi and definitely new traffic regulations). The five stars refer only to the emotional and nostalgic part.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place exist. But it favours walking mainly.
Due to parking point difficulties take a risk to car park for few minutes to attend you most needed activities like AlphaBank or Kiosk, fast shopping...
Remember buses have a station there and will surprise you that you blocked the way!
Wish this place with cars, and pedestrian access be softly merged because of important needed shopping around there.
I think it also does not favour sitting around hence the need to cross check with authority to improve the site.
