★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For me the best one in Petrokefali at Giannis place. I can recommend the fried pork liver with Rosmarin. It's sooo delicious. All the other dishes are good too. I have been there many times and the food was always really good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quiet place in the village center mostly visited by locals. You can eat one of the best Saganaki tiri here on Crete!
It is also relatively cheap compared to the touristic places. You can have a starter and a main here for about 13 € including drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, the food want really great, "potatoes" apparently means french fries and pork with peppers contained about a 1/10 of a pepper. The cantaloupe as a dessert was quite old and inedible. Toilets are priceless, you should definitely go there even if you don't need to. But, it's actually a great demonstration of Creta style, so I would recommend to visit it. Staff was fine.

Here u will find everything that culture explorer want to find: constant (suspicious) views of locals, one english (he knows this place meals names) user per village; u knows that meat super fresh because u pet that goat half of hour ago.

We just passed through this village and stopped randomly, and I am satisfied. I recommend this tavern for everyone.
