Η συγχρηματοδότηση έγινε από την Ελλάδα και την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση. Πρόκειται για μια πλατεία με έντονο ενδιαφέρον στο αρχιτεκτονικό στοιχείο. Οι χώροι δένουν αρμονικά με τις ψυχρές επιφάνειες των μετάλλων και του σκυροδέματος που κυριαρχεί παντού. Τα ξύλινα στοιχεία είναι λίγα και περιορίζονται στην γέφυρα της πάνω πλευράς. Ο φωτισμός είναι επαρκής το βράδυ αν και χαμηλός. Στην είσοδο της πλατείας υπάρχει ένα μακρόστενο συντριβάνι. Χώροι για να καθήσει κανείς υπάρχουν παντού αλλά είναι ψυχροί λόγω του μπετόν. Οι γύρω χώροι στους κήπους είναι καλλωπισμένοι προσεκτικά. Έμφαση έχει δωθεί στην αρχιτεκτονική αλλά το πέμπτο αστέρι υστερεί της κριτικής διότι μέχρι ενός σημείου δείχνει απόμακρη στον επισκέπτη. Υπάρχει πρόσβαση για αναπηρικά αμαξίδια στην πίσω πλευρά της. Within the framework of the regional operational program "Attiki 2007-2013", the municipality of Filothei - Psychiko implemented this square. The co-financing was done by Greece and the European Union. This is a square with a strong interest in the architectural element. The spaces blend harmoniously with the cold surfaces of metals and concrete that prevails everywhere. The wooden elements are few and are limited to the bridge on the upper side. The lighting is adequate at night although low. At the entrance of the square there is an elongated fountain. There are places to sit everywhere but they are cold because of the concrete. The surrounding areas in the gardens are carefully groomed. Emphasis has been placed on architecture but the fifth star lags behind criticism because up to a point it seems distant to the visitor. Wheelchairs are available at the rear.
