Ate here three or four times in the space of a week. Maybe more. Was our go-to local restaurant. Friendly, decent menu and good prices. Right on the beachfront for stunning views. Recommended

We randomly found this place because it was very close to our camping. We choose it for the nice terrasse and the good vibe. When the food came it became even more clear that this would become our favorite restaurant in west Crete. It seems a family run business and everyone is really nice with the customers. On top of that they always bring you a complimentary yoghurt with honey a few shots of Raki at the end of your dinner. A few times we made the mistake to go to eat to the city nearby, but believe me, here they don’t just threat you like a random tourist, here they put love and passion in their job and they make you feel welcomed! Absolutely recommended

Amazing food, service and view! I loved drunk calamari, sardines and porphyra salad! There is a local beer named Lyra, really tasteful! The dishes are quite a value for money!

Excellent service, really friendly staff. We have been twice for food, which was excellent. Been a couple of times for a midday drink. We will be going back again definitely before we go back to UK. Lovely place, beautiful views and fantastic sunsets. Highly recommend this place.

It's not only this miraculous place (there is nothing but the beautiful and wild Cretan Sea, calmness, cliffs) but also this very nice and cosy taverna, with authentic and very delicious dishes. The Cretan Salat, the Seafood and traditional plates like Stifado with porc and onions.... will really miss all that, the beautiful sunrise, the hospitality of the people there. Next year we will come back if we can. Thanks for everything

The worst restaurant in Crete. We ordered fried squid, grilled squid, water, Greek salad and beer. Everything was bad. The squid was greasy and tough. The waiter charged us everything, bread we didn't eat, 0.33 ml beer is 5.5 euros, bad beer, and it costs like in Monte Carlo. He brought me a bottle of olive oil for a salad and he charged me for it, can you believe it?! Lunch was very expensive, but very bad. Avoid this restaurant! The rating on google is not realistic.

We went for lunch and ordered grilled squid and beet salad. Both were good, but a little finesse was missing, but maybe it just was not our taste. The service is direct and funny in a unique way (may not work for everyone). What amazed us was the fig dessert with yogurt and the raki was one of the most pleasing ones in 3 weeks on crete.

Perfect spot to watch the sunset but you may want to consider reserving a table beforehand as it may get busy in the evening. Good food but could be better with more herbs and spices. Reasonable prices.
