On the first day we were supposed to hire a boat, the staff were real with us and said the winds were too strong - they held our spot for the next day, and they were right.
You need to see Poros by boat, we pitched up next to Waterskiing, in a private bay, and explored the island. The staff gave us a lesson on how to drive the boat, and even came out (within 10 mins of calling) when we got stuck.
Thank you Poros Boat Rentals, we had an amazing day. Super worth the price.

The boats are easy to use and it is beautiful to see the island from the water. We had a delicious picnic on a tiny island called "teachers island" in front of Russian bay, which you can only reach with a boat, and went to a sunken ship to do a bit of snorkeling.
It was possible and safe to rent a boat even without any of us having experience because of a good explanation beforehand and a little test 'drive' with the owners on the water to explain it again in motion before setting off.
Would definitely recommend this for a lovely day on the water!
