★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If there is a better view in Greece, I've yet to see it! This is a fantastic location for tourism, relaxation, or work. It's quiet, yet only only 800 yards from Galatas where you'll find the shops and restaurants.
If you're working online, as I am, the wi-fi is excellent. My room came with its own bathroom for my personal use. Not shared.
The icing on the cake is the wonderful host who will make you feel at home, and goes that extra mile to make you feel welcome.
A 10/10 experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem and an incredible value. Dimitris and his mother Penelope bring you into their beautiful home and treat you like one of the family. You are greeted with coffee and they will offer a number of options for spending your time in Poros/Galatas. Penelope suggested we visit Hydra and it was one of the highlights from our visit to Greece. Additionally, Dimitris suggested we eat at Apagio in Poros and it was among the best meals we had in Greece.
We felt very comfortable in the secluded room with a 5 star view of the area from a private balcony. Everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The path up the house is pretty steep, so be ready for a good hike. Otherwise, Penelope or Dimitris can pick you up or you can take a 5€ cab ride if it is before 9 pm.
We look forward to returning on our next visit to Greece.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The stay at Popi was my best airbnb experience ever. The view of Poros is breathtaking, the May sun was perfect, the many balconies allow everyone to do things on their own, but without ever forgetting to get together for a glass of ouzo in front of the sunset. The small taxi shuttle to Poros is very quick and runs regularly, and I would strongly recommend taking a day trip to Hydra. Dimitri was also present in his apartment for a few days. He and his mother are generous, funny and caring. I encourage you to visit them if you want an authentic Greek experience
