★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sometimes one can find real gems where not in the least expected. Panormos village is exactly that. Beautiful, with a picturesque little port-beach with quite clear waters and really calm. Nice little cafés with view directly above the port. I even had the chance to watch a great turtle there. Really worth the time if you want something relaxing and easy on the eyes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ touristic place but people can swim without the fear of big waves and in some restaurants around and coffee shops you can relax and have a very nice time. additionally you have so many good photos in the coast walking on foot while relaxing and maybe...you return here especially because of this short distance from rethymno city and the calmness of the afternoon...
