★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Greatest port town hotel/room i've ever stayed at. Giannis provides a very inviting atmosphere which is all the hallmarks of Greek culture. My biggest regret is not staying here a whole week. Island of Amorgos is now among my top favorite vacation destinations thanks to Giannis.

We read how good this hotel was (room 4&3) and now we can say that is really the highlight of our trip and one of our best hotel experiences.
The hotel is impossible to fault and is in the heart of katopola with view on harbor but very relaxing. Giannis was the perfect host with good tips on the best authentic places to eat and drink. I could not give a higher recommendation for a place to stay and we look forward to staying here again someday.
To contact and reserve just e-mail him, he have a perfect english.
Slight down side: the balconies have a small separation, so you can hear and see other guests, but it didn't really bother us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Giannis is a fantastic host, he gave us loads of advice and was really friendly. Despite only being a 1 minute walk from the ferry he will come and meet you off the boat. We stayed in the "Family Home" which is a 2 bed house set back a bit from the port but has loads of space an lovely terrace and balcony. The main pension is right on the front with fab views of the port. Great bakery right next door, best restaurant food is to be had up the mountain village of Hora, only 8 Euros in a taxi or 1.80 on the bus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Porto Katapola is a very nice and cosy rooms to let in Katapola. The rooms are next to the port and plenty of taverns and cafés. Yianis the owner is extremely friendly, polite and helpful.
Regarding the room, it was recently refurbished and super clean. We had a room with garden view. The negatives are the weak Internet signal and the size of the wc (super clean but small).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great host, who provided us with all the information we needed during our stay and even before arrival. The rooms were nice, spacious and clean with a large balcony and we also had a nice garden were we spent a lot of time reading. Overall a great experience mostly thanks to Giannis (the host) who made it everything easy. We will definitely come back
