The tavern in Porto Limnionas might be on one of the most southwestern edges of Zakynthos, but the road there plus the incredible view of the sea and the horizon alone makes you feel like you’re on the edge of the world! Though very rocky, you can enjoy swimming there during the day and maybe wait till the sunset to get a full view of the beauty this place has to offer. The staff of the tavern are extremely friendly and will surely tend to your needs. The menu consists mainly on REALLY fresh fish which you must try, a selection of tasty seafood, some interesting hors d’oeuvres, fresh salads and even some meat options for anyone that does not like/want to eat fish. Make sure you reserve your table to the tavern if you want to be there for the sunset.

The road up to there is difficult, in some areas with 1 lane and no road shoulders, the slope of the road is reaching 10% in some area.. but ... go and see... go and try... the beach does not exist, there are terraces with sun beds and umbrellas. You can enjoy the restaurant with many facilities. In the Port you can jump, swim, snork and many other.
G	Gregorio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Greek "bruschetta" and souvlaki were pretty good and at normal prices. Great spot to end the day and enjoy the view ? Free tables at 18.30 though might be crowded during the day. Kitchen closes down at 19.00.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!! CALL AND RESERVE A SUN BED 1 day in advance!!! Is worth it?????? Theodorakys ??
A	A V on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding location! So beautiful with the inland turquoise water and the caves. Or sea view if you prefer. The restaurant has tables for eating but you can also order from the rows of sunbeds near the restaurant. 10 euro for two beds. I liked the Greek bread with feta and tomatoes. The spaghetti was also very well.
V	Vee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s worth the trip for the view alone. Possibly the best waters I have ever swam in, in Europe. Beautiful Blue crystal clear waters and it’s a joy to swim with the little fish! Now into the tavern…. What a clever little money maker! How they managed to be the only food place at the port area is very good luck indeed! The place gets BUSY - I was quite surprised and we didn’t even go on an exceptionally hot day! There was rain! Their sun bed system needs more work though, we found a lovely bed with no belongings and the staff said it was free, only to be kicked off after 10 minutes! The original purchasers forgot to place their belongings on the chairs to show it’s taken so make sure you do this! We were then directed to ONE sun bed, between the 2 of us. Good thing I’m tiny and petite and could fit on this with my fiancé! Service - the woman with sun beds, she’s great. The remaining staff - they were friendly. It’s a chaotic restaurant, staff numbers appear to be restricted. It took a while to get a seat and it’s frustrating when you see about 6 tables free just standing there…. Service is slow, but food was great! I ordered the souvlaki. I’m glad I came but I would advise you set off early to get the bed you want!

The service was good enough, but the staff could be friendlier and more present – we waited a lot to order since the place was a bit chaotic. Contrary to the service, the food was great. Also, ordering drinks at the sunbeds is quite expensive.
