Nice room nice view very friendly personal

Just visited the restaurant and not the hotel. Good food but the service inefficient as too small number and unable to cope with the demand. We waited for quite long time to order desert only to be told they don't serve it after 9pm. Staff stressed and although polite, they come across unpleasant.

Out of my 7 days in Platamonas, this was the worst meal by far, poorly cooked fat chicken and a shrimp pasta that was over priced, over cooked, and, lacking in flavour, the service was poor and didnt let me and my partner split the bill at the end of the meal. Out of all the places in Platamonas I had heard about, this one had the best reviews and was the worst of all. Would not recomend it, wouldnt feed it to the dogs.

Much more than we expected. The Porto Marine is, as the name suggests, right opposite of a small marina. There is a constant salty breeze around the place that feels fresh. The rooms are contemporary and well kept, the view over the marina is amazing. Service is very friendly and capable. We particularly liked the food in the hotel restaurant: a tip to the hat to kitchen and service. The fish was exceptionally fresh and all dishes competently prepared. For that price point we have no complaints.

This is a uniquely modern, beautiful and clean hotel. Platamonas is so lucky is has such a hotel. The rooms are spacious, decorated with great taste, nice linen included and amazing bathrooms. The bed is extremely comfortable, the amenities are more than usual, and the sea view is all you need. Relaxing and really large veranda with table and chairs, overlooking the Aegean, ideal for relaxing moments. Room service is another plus, moreover the people who work here always smile at you. The breakfast is amazing, in variety and quality. Everything we tried was delicious and there is a choice for every taste. Sweets, savory, omelettes, pancakes, fruits, any coffee you like! Plus, we had really good dinners at the restaurant. From pasta to chicken and salads, all was cooked very well and in a modern mediterranean twist. We really loved it and we recommend everyone to visit it!

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast menu is very good I would definitely recommend it.

I highly recommend the hotel, which follows the following standards: safety, hygiene, comfort, small (comparative) and quiet space, easy access to mountain and sea, in a city with life. Safe Environment: the COVID protection standards adopted were very good, in my point of view. In the cozy room, public areas, breakfast, café and restaurant - pizzeria, everything inspired trust. Strict and professional protocols, a friendly and quiet environment, especially polite and helpful staff, willing to give you any information. With my wife, we want to make special mention to the owner (Mr. Nikos) and to young Athena, whom we usually found at the reception. We also tried the restaurant. Usually, restaurants in 5-star hotels are expensive. Perhaps, some appetizers were somewhat expensive (6-10 €), but they tasted excellent. A pleasant surprise was the price per kilo of really fresh fish or lobster (You can look at the hotel's website; there is a menu and price list). Surprisingly, it was equal or even lower than many neighboring fish taverns, which had a much lower level of service. Very good view of the small marina with private boats and the open sea. Comfortable veranda, well-protected from the sun (and a short Augustan Buri) to enjoy coffee and a good book. Outdoor enclosed playground for children. The location of the hotel is in the lively city with shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars nearby. This results in some external noise, especially on weekends. But the room had satisfactory soundproofing and thick curtains. Good beaches for swimming, within 500 m south towards NEOI POROI. By car, you can visit many nice areas in the neighboring mountains of Olympus and Kissavos. For 8 nights, I paid about 1000 € for a two-person room (August 2021)

This is exceptional place: renovated hotel with amazing sea and marina view, kind staff, taste restaurants cousins with fresh fish, quite place far from main road. All is excellent
