Poseidon Restaurant - Palaiokastritsas

Lovely place! The food is delicious especially the tzatziki, and the staff was kind and helpful. The place is a great choice for both lunch and diner, and the also have a wide selection of cocktails too. The view from the restaurant is just truly amazing.

Totally disgusted by this place. Asked if I have to pay for sun beds if I’m a customer and was informed that it is for customers. We ordered coffee and fries cause it was enough for us. I also asked if I have to pay now or later and bartender said that it can be later. As soon as coffee arrived I was asked to pay. Occurs that sun beds were extra paid - 7.5 for one! We resigned from staying on them and moved to the restaurant. Than we received rest of our order - french fries. Received… no that is not correct word, they were just thrown on the table. Also they were packed as take away with plastic fork and knife even though everyone around had normal plates and cutlery. If I knew I would never stay here longer than for a minute.

Without doubt the worst customer service and food I have ever had the misfortune to pay over the odds for. First I ordered a Heineken which the waiter entered into his electronic pad, then my partner tried to order her drink but was told 2 beers were ordered and it’s too difficult to change now!!! So, ignoring the constant sound of yapping stray dogs next door we ordered from an expensive menu assuming the food must be good at these prices. WRONG - IT WAS BEYOND AWFUL. Plain Pizza (€9) was frozen (they even admitted it) and burned see picture ... good luck with the €16 version!! The Greek salad (€8) arrived with no dressing and the cheapest most sour bit of feta ever. I have bought better from a petrol station in the UK. The tiny portion of tzatziki (€4.50) was watery and tasteless. Two thin slices of a baguette was €1. When I informed a young waiter of this he smiled in a “don’t give a toss” manner. Two friends had joined us so we asked him for a split bill but the first waiter returned with one bill saying it was too difficult (again) to split it and refused to do it until we began to kick up a fuss. After several failed attempts at basic mathematics we arrived at the princely sum of €34 which we paid cash. He uttered something which sounded like sorry and we left very unhappy. To summarise: a complacent attitude due to the location with argumentative and rude staff and well below average over priced food. BE WARNED STAY CLEAR !!!

Amazing restaurant on one of the most beautiful and picturesque beaches of Paleokastritsa. Food is awesomely tasty and fresh. One of the best areas with a very diverting place to eat and drink! Will definitely go back!

I ate a very good gyros, even if I read some other reviews that said bad things about it… the view is very nice, the food was great and the portion was big, also the frappes are tasty. The waiter was very polite and kind!

Food is not their strong suit. Mostly frozen stuff at too high prices (frozen Saganaki 6€) Wine is pretty good, fair price, 8€ for 0.5l Great views obviously, friendly staff, some Music was playing.

We had gyros and it was delicious! Really worth the price and the portion is (to me) big enough. We took Ionic beer made on Corfu - pure heaven during hot day. Staff is amazing, so nice and helpful. We will be back! View from the restaurant is amazing. We ordered more beer and spent the sunset at the beach on chairs which belong to the restaurant. Really worth to come!
