r	ricardo campbell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stay at Gavdos Princess for 8 nights in total (July 2019) we was picked up at the port by the hotel staff in a mini bus and taken to the hotel - the rooms themselves are a type of nicely spaced mini villas, which are basic, but really clean. The resort itself is quiet and well laid out. The restaurant serves amazing Greek food, which we always ordered too much to eat The staff always went the extra mile to try and make your stay a happy stay We would be more than happy to stay again Gavdos itself is scenic The beaches are amazing The best beaches can sometimes takes a bit of effort to get too , but worth it as you may end being 1 of 10 people or less on the beach

They were very kind to meet us at the ferry arrival and bring us to the property by car (otherwise, there's not much transportation on the island besides a bus). The property was very cute, with a nice view and taverna. The apartment was basic, but good enough for us. George was very kind and helped us plan our itinerary for the time in Gavdos (we only had 1 day so it was a bit tight). He was also kind to bring us by car to the location where the hike to the beach started because we were not managing otherwise to get there. We visited the taverna in the evening and the food was amazing! Thank you, George and the family, for the amazing hospitality and kindness! We hope to come back :)
C	Cedrique on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unfriendly, very dissapointing experience. Salads were not good at all! Food is barely average. Prices are huge! Attitude is very bad! Owner complaints loudly about clients, about tourists coming to the island - yes, the same tourists that pay for his livelihood! Disastrous! And the owner was bragging proudly that he does not get vaccinated!

The menu offers beautifully prepared traditional Cretan dishes all made with fresh and local products. Simple, but very tasteful, and made with love for good food and hospitality. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The chef offered me to take the leftover Cretan salad and wrapped it ‘to go’. The beautiful building is new and modern with a very traditional look and style. It is situated in the center of town (which by itself is not bigger than a few buildings). Outside seating is partially covered, and together with the location on top of a hill that came with a very welcome breeze it made it an unbeatable spot. I ordered a grilled beef steak cooked to perfection with seasoned fries and a Cretan salad. Both dishes I recommend. The prices are all very modest and don’t exceed the prices you find on the main island. Would go back in a heartbeat.
s	sian hughes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had 5 wonderful nights on Gavdos (an extra 2 due to bad weather delaying our ferry back to the mainland) and it has been one of the best holidays we have ever had! George and his brother Leek were so welcoming on our arrival and made our stay as nice as possible, giving advice on nice walks, collecting us from the port and alwasy friendly and kind. They are so lovely and the accomodation is perfect with a nice kitchen and bathroom, and a lovely balcony to enjoy breakfast looking out at the birds and nature all around. We were very sad to leave and would love to come back one day! Thank you both for such a wonderful stay!
