You can then park in the square, sip water from the springs, and walk towards the refuge on Tagetos. The peak, of which, is covered in snow during the winter. Absolutely STUNNING views over the Lakonia Plain towards the Parma mountains ⛰
Or take a more leisurely hike to Gola Monastery and the village of Gorani where there is a shop and taverna.
For people who love mountains this place is hard to beat.
A serious hidden gem!
