Παρατημένο εδω και μια 10ετια με μόνη σοβαρη παρέμβαση την πλήρη ανακατασκευή της μεγάλης κερκίδας. Μακάρι να ανακατασκευαστεί και ο αγωνιστικός χώρος και να γίνει και πάλι λειτουργικό Υ.Γ.: Επιτέλους τα έργα ξεκίνησαν και μετατρέπεται πάλι σε στολίδι Υ.Γ1.: το γήπεδο μετά από 10 χρόνια είναι και πάλι λειτουργικό. Έτοιμο πλεον. Μόνο ο φωτισμός μένει και καθίσματα στην μεγάλη κερκίδα The most historic stadium of Patras that does not have the care it deserves. Δίπλα στον Ι.Ν της Αγίας Φωτεινής στην περιοχή των Προσφυγικών, που στην περίφραξη του -τότε- είχε γύρω γύρω τσίγκους στηριζόμενους σε ξύλινα δοκάρια κ πολύ συχνά με τον δυνατό αέρα έπεφταν κάτω. Ομάδες των Προσφυγικών όπως η θύελλα, ο Άρης, ο Ολυμπιακός, το παλιό ΑΟ Πάτραι κλπ έδιναν ζωή στο χωμάτινο τερέν κ μέσα από αυτό ανδρώθηκαν ποδοσφαιριστές με ονόματα για το Ελληνικό Ποδόσφαιρο. Σήμερα ένα όνειρο έγινε πραγματικότητα κ το γήπεδο αναγεννήθηκε εκ βάθρων μετά από περιπέτεια κι αναμονή χρόνων. One of the most historic stadiums in Achaia.
