★ ★ ★ ★ ★ οικισμός Περιβόλι, από τα σημαντικότερα θέρετρα της Πίνδου, είναι χτισμένος στις ανατολικές κλιτύς της ομώνυμης οροσειράς στα όρια Μακεδονίας – Ηπείρου σε υψόμετρο 1350 μέτρα. Είναι έδρα της ομώνυμης Κοινότητας και υπάγεται διοικητικά στη Νομαρχιακή Αυτοδιοίκηση Γρεβενών. Ο πληθυσμός σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία της τελευταίας απογραφής είναι 440 άτομα Η διοικητική περιοχή της Κοινότητας καλύπτει 450.000 στρέμματα περίπου. Το ανάγλυφο της περιοχής χαρακτηρίζεται από πλούσια βιοποικιλότητα. Στα διοικητικά όρια της Κοινότητας ανήκει ο Εθνικός Δρυμός Πίνδου «ΒΑΛΙΑ ΚΑΛΝΤΑ». Οι κάτοικοι ασχολούνται κατά κύριο λόγο με την κτηνοτροφία και την υλοτομία. Από το αιγοπρόβειο γάλα παράγονται παραδοσιακά τυροκομικά προϊόντα φέτα, κεφαλοτύρι, βούτυρο και μυζήθρα.
