★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are not a resident visiting the grave of a loved one, the site still offers a few items of interest for visitors: 1) The view of the sea is fantastic. 2) The aqueduct for the castle ends there, so you can take a look inside the aqueduct. 3) Right in the front row you will find the devoutly maintained grave of the father of former Prime Minister of Greece, Samaras. 4) The names on the stones give you a feel for the main families that have been living in Pylos for the last 150 years.
