Χορός της Κοιλιάς

Ο χορός αυτός ονομάστηκε Belly Dance από τους γάλλους (danse du ventre) που κατά την διάρκεια των ταξιδιών τους εντυπωσιάστηκαν από τις κινήσεις της κοιλιάς των εξωτικών χορευτριών. Παρόλα αυτά η πιο σωστή ονομασία του χορού είναι Oriental Dance και στα αραβικά: Raks Sharki.
Χορεύεται σε όλο τον αραβικό κόσμο όπως και στην Τουρκία. Είναι χορός μυϊκός, υψηλής τεχνικής που διαρκώς εξελίσσεται καθώς ταλαντούχες solist τον εμπλουτίζουν με την προσωπική τους έμπνευση και τέχνη. Κάποιες από αυτές έχουν γίνει μύθος στην ιστορία του αυτού του χορού.
Στη σχολή μας διδάσκεται σε ομαδικά και ιδιαίτερα μαθήματα στην αυθεντική του μορφή, σε αρχάριες και προχωρημένες μαθήτριες.


Tribal Belly Dance

Το tribal συνδυάζει στοιχεία oriental με ινδικούς χορούς, flamenco, τσιγάνικους και βαλκανικούς χορούς και χορούς από τη Βόρεια Αφρική. Είναι ομαδικός χορός συνήθως αυτοσχεδιαστικός. Οι χορεύτριες μαθαίνουν ένα συγκεκριμένο βηματολόγιο και με την εξάσκηση και την εμπειρία αναπτύσσουν μία μη-λεκτική επικοινωνία. Οι κινήσεις είναι ακριβείς, έχουν ροή και χαρακτηριστικό τους είναι η απομόνωση των μυών. Επειδή ακριβώς βασίζεται σε μυϊκές κινήσεις και όχι σε σωματικές ικανότητες για αυτό απευθύνεται σε κοπέλες με κάθε είδους σώμα. Το tribal είναι η αρχική μορφή των μεταγενέστερων σύγχρονων μορφών tribal, όπως είναι το tribal fusion και το gothic belly dance.
Το tribal fusion είναι ένα μίγμα στοιχείων (μουσική και κινήσεις) oriental με σύγχρονο beat και ήχους και hip hop. Προσφέρει μια τεράστια ελευθερία επιλογών και για αυτό είναι δύσκολο να μπει σε καθορισμένα πλαίσια. Είναι η πιο σύγχρονη μορφή του tribal και μπορεί να είναι είτε αργό και μυστηριώδες είτε επιθετικό και δυναμικό. Η ενδυμασία δεν είναι καθορισμένη. Μπορούμε να δούμε χορευτές με αφγανικά κολιέ, λουλούδια στα μαλλιά, δαντελένια φουρό, κ.α.
Το Gothic belly dance ή αλλιώς Raks Gothique συγχωνεύει την gothic κουλτούρα (μουσική, ενδυμασία, έκφραση) με τον θηλυκό ανατολίτικο χορό. Εμφανίστηκε περίπου πριν 15 χρόνια. Διάφορες άλλες ονομασίες του gothic belly dance είναι burlesque belly dance, vamp gothic belly dance, industrial gothic belly dance.

Belly Dance This dance was named Belly Dance by the French (danse du ventre)who, during their journeys, were impressed by the movements of the exotic dancers' bellies. However, the most correct name of the dance is Oriental Dance and in Arabic: Raks Sharki.
It is danced all over the Arabic world and in Turkey , as well. It is a muscular dance of high technique, which is constantly evolving as talented female solists enrich it with their personal inspiration and art. Some of them have even become myths in the history of this dance.
In our school Belly Dance is taught in private and group lessons in its original form, for both beginners and advanced female students.

Tribal Belly Dance

Tribal belly dance is a mix of oriental with Indian dances, flamenco, gypsy and Balkan dances. It is a group dance often improvisational. Dancers learn specific movements and with practice and experience they develop a non-talkative communication. Movements are precise , they are fluid and the most impressive part is the muscles isolation. As this dance is based on muscle movements and not in body performance, it is a dance for every type of body.
Tribal fusion belly dance is a newer form of tribal belly dance. It is a mix of oriental music with today’s beat and hip hop. It can be from slow and mysterious to dynamic and aggressive. Dancers depending on their choreography may wear from Afghani jewelry, to flowers hair embellishments, etc.
Gothic belly dance is another type of tribal belly dance. It mixes all the parts of the gothic culture with the feminine oriental dance. It first appeared 15 years ago. Gothic belly dance is also known as burlesque belly dance, vamp gothic belly dance, industrial gothic belly dance.
