★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small and cozy bar hidden in Ilioupoli that serves great food (even late at night) and awesome rakomelo.
Absolutely worth visiting if only to try the various rakomela prepared by Pantelis and co. Not satisfied with simply having one variety, they combine various honeys from all over Greece with raki (from all over Greece as well) resulting in fantastic combinations.
For the optimal experience, show up on a weekday since its quite a small place.

The waiters are kind and although there was no english menu because there are not so many non-greek speakers they managed to suggest us some meals describing them. The prices are much cheaper than the ones in the center around the Acropolis and so

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really one of the best places in Athens for greek food! I highly recommend this restaurant! The food was traditional and very delicious, the interior is interesting and beautiful, the waiters were so polite and smiled and the prices were reasonable! We paid 30 euro for 2 people - salads, main dishes, wine, water and bread. The personal were so nice that they gave us more wine for free! The menu is only on greek but the waiter translated us the whole menu!!
