★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For those of us who want to visit Santorini, but are not willing to pay crazy prices at the hotels with the view of caldera, Rampelia is an excellent option. Place is run very professionally. At the check-in the guy gave more information that we were able to absorb, and in the following days, they were able to answer questions and give excellent advice about activities we wanted to do. Our apartment and common area were sparkling clean. Fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, everything in good working order. Free parking is available. I think most, if not all apartments are facing the sea. Again this is not the view of caldera, but the other side of the island. There's an infinity pool with the view of the sea, with some umbrellas and beds next to it, which was usually empty. Bus stop is about 50 yards from the property. Walk to Imerovigli is about 7-10 minutes uphill. Imerovigli itself is a very cute village that looks the same as Fira or Oia. Same views, same white buildings, restaurants, shopping and so on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were extremely poorly attended. Long delay to deliver room key, even at agreed time. We had to wait in the sun in midsummer. At check-out time we were taken out of the room with bad manners and before the agreed time. The apartment was not well cleaned. I do not recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small resort with pool and terrace and carpark but about 10min walk from the main part of the village, yet just 30m from the local bus stop. So one gets the space and price but need to walk to supermarkets or eateries. Upside, one has sunrise view every morning, and the apartment is well equipped with cooking utensils. Downside, the reception closes by 16:00 unless pre-arranged!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent a week and found the staff friendly and helpful, apartment cleaned daily and had all we needed. Pool area was lovely with beautiful views and sunrise. A short walk to the bus to Fira but uphill! The bus to Oia right outside the door. We enjoyed our stay very much.
