★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Τα τελευταία χρόνια, από τα μέσα Απριλίου μέχρι τις αρχές Μαίου, το ακροβατικό αεροπορικό σμήνος της Βασιλικής Βρετανικής αεροπορίας "Red Arrows" πραγματοποιεί πάνω από τον Νότιο Ευβοϊκό κόλπο μέρος της ετήσιας εκπαιδευτικής άσκησης του.
Για δέκα περίπου εργάσιμες ημέρες πραγματοποιούνται κατά μέσο όρο δύο "περάσματα" με σκοπό την εκπαίδευση σε φιγούρες που θα πραγματοποιηθούν στις πάνω από πενήντα χώρες που μέχρι σήμερα έχουν επισκεφθεί.
Οι καιρικές συνθήκες της περιοχής επιτρέπουν άπνοια χωρίς σύννεφα, ώστε τα καπνογόνα που χρησιμοποιούνται στον αέρα να διαγράφουν ωραία σχέδια στον ουρανό.
Από το Χαλκούτσι μέχρι τον Ωρωπό μπορεί κανείς να παρακολουθήσει την εκπαιδευτική πτήση τους, όμως στις παραλίες δυτικά του Ασωπού ποταμού η θέα είναι μοναδική και όσο το δυνατόν πιο κοντινή.
Νωρίς το πρωί , κατά τις οκτώ και μισή , και το μεσημέρι από τις μία και μετά (ώρες εμπειρικά κατά προσέγγιση) γίνονται τα δύο περάσματα.
Για πόσα χρόνια θα διεξαχθεί αυτή η εκπαίδευση, κανείς δεν ξέρει.
Φέτος όμως μας αποζημίωσαν και πάλι με τον επαγγελματισμό, την ακρίβεια των πτήσεων και το καταπληκτικό πρόγραμμα τους.

 In recent years, from mid-April to early May, the Royal British Air Force "Red Arrows" acrobatic squadron flies over the southern Gulf of Evia as part of its annual training exercise.
For about ten working days, on average, two "passes" are made for the purpose of training in figures that will take place in the more than fifty countries that have visited so far.
The weather conditions of the area allow apnea without clouds, so that the fumigants used in the air can draw beautiful patterns in the sky.
From Halkoutsi to Oropos one can watch their educational flight, but on the beaches west of the Asopos river the view is unique and as close as possible.
Early in the morning, at eight and a half, and at noon from one onwards (approximately empirically hours) the two passages take place.
For how many years this training will be conducted, no one knows.
This year, however, they compensated us again with their professionalism, the accuracy of the flights and their amazing schedule.
