Rodon House Aparthotel - Tripiti Beach

A little hidden gem on the isle of thassos. Rodon house is a beautiful family run apartment style hotel.Consisting of about 40 appartments of varying sizes. We had number 19 situated on the second floor, which has 2 double bedrooms with 2 double beds and 2 pullout single sofas.2 bathrooms and a small kitchenette with fridge kettle and 2 ring cooker as well as crockery, cutlery and utensils to prepare basic meals.There is also a large balcony overlooking the pool and well kept gardens.The rooms are nice and serviced daily by the dedicated housekeeping team. All rooms have a tv and good aircon and there is decent wifi around the restaurant, reception and pool areas as well as apartments on the lover levels.The gardens and pool are very child friendly with a separate play area for younger children.Plenty of sun loungers and day beds with canopies and umbrellas surround the pool.There is a fully stocked bar preparing delicious cocktails and snacks all day long at very reasonable prices.There is also an onsite Italian restaurant serving mouthwatering regional classics and Italian cuisine with an emphasis on fresh locally caught fish.Thassos is known as the isle of trees and this is reflected in the hotel grounds as it is filled with olive,pine,fig,lemon and apricot trees allowing ample shade from the scorching August sun. Situated 20 meters from the sea the hotel has it's own private beach with a unique swim through arch carved into the cliff leading to the crysta clear Aegean sea. The jewels in the crown are the multilingual attentive staff.From Anna the manager to vasile and stefano in the bar and restaurant. The chefs,waiting staff, grounds man and housekeepers. They truly care about each individual guest and make you feel like you have been invited into their home.A true taste of the famous Greek hospitality. With owners Rosa and Tomasino at the helm you will have to search long and hard for a better experience.Special thanks to Vanessa their daughter for being so kind towards my children.Goint to hate having to leave but so looking forward to returning soon. Have searched a long time for a place like this.......

If you wish to have a holiday away from everything .this is the place. Staff are very friendly and helpful .Apartments are kept very clean and tidy .They could do with a few more cooking utensils in the room especially if you are not eating out . The restaurant on site was very good and the portions were more than ample.The apartments could do with a shop on site for basic requirements otherwise you require the bus to Limenaria or your own transport to get groceries.The pools and bar area are clean , just wish there had been steps down into small pool as difficult to step down into.

The breakfast included in the price could use improvement (they're serving margarine instead of butter, tea-like coffee and really tasteless cheese). The apartment was decent in regards to the size and facilities. The stairs could be a burden for some (if you get a room at the upper levels) but at least the cardio keeps you fit. Everything was really clean and appreciated the cleaning staff that fixed up the room on a daily basis. Also, the restaurant is quite good (they serve fresh fish).

The apartment is very nice and has a lovely view of the see. It's very clean. The staff is very helpfull. The pool is a bliss for a family with kids. The hotel is close to the see. We like it here very much, this is why we came back.

Location is near the beach, with a great outdoor pool, clean and big rooms and friendly staff (Dora and Maxim, thanks for everything! ?), food was also great, tasy and big portions (served at Maestrale, italian restaurant inside Rodon).We had a wonderful vacation and we plan to return in next years. The hotel is great, we have an apartment with a nice terrace an an amazing view. The kids love the pool, we enjoy the beach and the pool bar. The staff is friendly and they all speak English well. The owners, Thommaso and Rosa are very nice people, it is always a pleasure to chat with them in the evening at the bar. It is our second stay at Rodon House and we will surely come back here.

a very quiet family place. We visited with my wife and dog (you can ask for a room suitable for pets). They responded my emails almost instantly. The beach is just few steps away, the breakfast is pretty good and you can also enjoy Italian and Mediterranean flavours in their own restaurant with sea view and reasonable prices. I totally recommend and we will definitely visit again in the future

Very nice place with great big rooms, we had the room with the very big balcony an it was great. Food at the restaurant is good, the breackfast is always the same without any fruits. Very near to the beach 1 min from the villa, very nice and clean pool. We loved this place.
