★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really lovely guest house in the pretty village of Agios Athanasios. Very cool and fresh in summer, which makes a nice change from the hot plains and coast of Macedonia. Staff are really lovely and the breakfast is great. The village has nice restaurants and cafes and is in a beautiful but little explored part of the region. Bring warm clothes, even in summer.

It seems that the owner has stopped to clean it back then in February (pre covid) and didnt do any cleaning since then
Mold is everywhere , broken sink, dirty bed sheets.
Once I've tried to talk with the owner , he did everything not to answer my request and avoid talking with me.
I really suggest , just look for a different place

Very kind and friendly host and staff, what ever we wanted we got it. Traditional apartments with small kitchenette and a fridge, great living room and two bedrooms on the first floor! Clean rooms, linen, towels..Due to covid we had our breakfast in our apartment. For four people the stay was cheap, 30€ per person! The public areas such as the reception had a great atmosphere! Very warm apartment.
