Royal Hotel and Suites - Πολύχρονο

Royal Hotel in Polichrono on Halkidiki is about an hours drive from Thessaloniki airport, SKG. The hotel hidden a row of houses on the right as you enter Polichrono, and the parking is to the right directly by the warning lights for the first set of traffic lights and the other way is to turn right at the traffic lights and go around to the hotel from the other side. The hotel is nice and modern and has a good restaurant and pool bar and they do everything from breakfast to all inclusive, should you want something else then it is just a few minutes walk to the city centre with plenty of choice. The beach is about a five minute walk away. The hotel has two medium sized pools and you can also get rooms with private pools. Rooms are big and spacious and most of them have good size balconies as well. Both food and service is excellent and the hotel is a good base for exploring or just relaxing.

Oke a better review because you think all bad reviews are fake.My longer review from TripAdvisor after my visit, i really feel the urge to post on another platform because the food can make people sick: Rooms are very neat and kept very clean. The area around the hotel (mini golf, table tennis) needs some attention and love. The food in the restaurant is very bad in the evening, almost no freshly prepared hot food (ready-made, frozen, procesed), spaghetti just becomes hard and dry and not renewed. (Everything is only renewed when its empty) Cold Sauces have a crust on them because it's been standing for a long time, cold vegetables and salads are almost always the same and you can hardly see what the crusty sauces are, desserts seem to be recycled (usually same kind of dessert every day, just a little less fresh). And cheap powder pudding. Breakfast is reasonable (mostly english/european), except for the bread which is always not really fresh and chewy. It would really be a very nice hotel if a little more attention was paid to dinner, with a little more variety and above all much better quality and more fresh food, put out fresh gyros, souvlaki and other Greek grill dishes more often. grill vegetables more often and, for example, a simple fresh moussaka or other oven dish. I personally think food is very important when staying at a hotel so unfortunately I can't give more than 2 stars. For this what they say 4 star hotel.

It was a real pleasure to stay in this cozy hotel! Our room was nice with all provided conditions and even more, we had a small kitchen in the room? and a hair dryer was for free (some people were asking). We had a package tour so all inclusive food was tasty, we could eat ice cream every day. Thank you, smiling girl on the reception for all answers to my questions! We will come one more time ? The sea side is 400m walk from the hotel, 2 sun beds and an umbrella cost 10€, so it's better to have your own towel. The sea is light blue and warm ?

This a family run hotel, near enough to enjoy the local area but far away enough to be a nice relaxing hotel... And that is exactly what it is. A nice hotel, that is well kept and well maintained. Good choice of rooms and stay status, B&B is what I favour and I found the selection at breakfast very acceptable, mix of full breakfast or continental. The rooms.. as a deluxe garden choice, nice beds and good spaced rooms, sufficient wardrobe and drawers. It is well kept, cleaners seem to be there everyday ready to clean the rooms. The family are so welcoming and happy to help you in every way they can. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. If you want an easy going holiday then I highly recommended this hotel!!

Excellent hospitality, The stuff always with a smile ready to help you. Clean rooms, Fantastic for family vacation. Great cuisine and drinks. Highly recommended. The Best place for relaxation and fun, plus the sea is within a 5 minutes walking distance...what else you need!!

Extremley clean, cleaners always busy. Bed really comfy and freshly made daily. Air con and safe are free. Rooms are a good size. All staff really friendly, chatty and hard working. They cannot do enough for you. Lots of banter with Assistant Manager.They looked after my brother when poorly with advice and allowing food to be taken to him. Food is really tasty and hot. We never went hungry and snacks available all day. The showcasing chef was fantastic, gorgeous meals and such a lovely man. Pool is amazing and sun loungers are very comfy. Plenty to go round. Beach short walk away can find wonderful tavernas for dinner and watch the dolphins playing out to sea. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday would book again.
