Safran Restaurant, Naousa - Naousa

Didn’t get a table without a reservation the first night we tried (even in mid September), they are very busy and popular! We tried another night, and the hostess was very welcoming and accommodating and took my number and called us 30 mins later when a table became available! The food was really great, I got the traditional Cretan pasta. the only slight comment I have is that the pasta was more than al dente and some pieces were not cooked through. The tastes were great though. Not sure if this is Greek thing as we experienced it in a few places…? The host was so warm and friendly and came to chat to us after our meal. Aside from the pasta comment the food was really very good. It’s a lovely setting and a great restaurant in Paros, probably one of the best we visited. Good service too. Pricey but this is standard in Paros for a foodie restaurant. (Would have been 5 stars if the pasta had been cooked through a bit more!)

The experience of sitting on the alley was special, but the culinary experience wasn’t that high for my taste, the food was served really nice, the cheese croquettes was excellent but the shrimp pasta and the octopus with fava wasn’t that interesting, a bit expensive for the value you get

Good food with some mentions: the taramosalata was too salty and the octopus chewy. The full stars go to the lady managing the bookings and taking the orders. She was very kind, found a place for us before the rush hour and made the entire experience lovely. Maybe you should ask her for a recommendation. It is not a high-end restaurant, medium-high prices for Naoussa. People are dressed well so don't come directly from the beach because you'll feel a bit uncomfortable.

Great dinner. Safran offers a refined take on Greek cuisine, with emphasis on seafood. My partner and I shared two starters and one main dish: tuna tartare, caponata and grilled shrimps. All three were delicious. The mojito tiramisu is an excellent dessert. We paid €68. The place is popular, so better make a reservation. Highly recommended.

After reading the reviews I had high expectations, but we were overall disappointed. The feta was good but the crust was not great, the ossobuco was also good. The main issue was the shrimp pasta. Mine just looks sad in comparison to the photos I’ve seen here…also, no parsley and no acidity. The service was good but too slow..

Excellent restaurant. We went during an off peak hour with no reservation and the staff managed to fit us in. In terms of food we had the shrimp risotto and a slow cooked veal (off menu, dish of the day). Both were amazing. For starters we had a Greek salad and the feta cheese croquettes (which were exquisite). Service was excellent.

Excellent restaurant a Naoussa, located in the narrow streets of the village. Service was excellent, the food was amazing, everything fresh, with tasty and beautiful presentation. The wine proposed (Malagousia) was fresh and it perfect fitted with the diner. Best to do a reservation. Appetizer, main dish and a bottle of wine for 35 euros per person! I truly recommend it!

Had a nice dinner. Ordered fava, cheese croquettes ,fried octopus and shrimps spaghetti. The food looked very nice, but the taste a little less successful. The fried octopus was very chewy and dry, was difficult to eat it. Spaghetti was good but i would prefer to have more sauce. Overall for this price i would expect everything to be perfect as we did had a better food experience on the island. But still this is a very pleasant restaurant to sit and the service was 5 stars!
