★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στην άκρη της παραλίας και πλάι σ’ ένα βράχο ρέει ακατάπαυστα το Αγίασμα του Αγ. Γεωργίου. Πρόκειται για υφάλμυρο – όξινο νερό που πηγάζει μέσα από το βράχο και τα χαλίκια και έχει θεραπευτικές ιδιότητες για την ασθένεια της δυσουρίας, παθήσεις των νεφρών, της χολής κ.ά.
Μάλιστα, στο παλαιό Καθολικό υπάρχει τοιχογραφία του Αγ. Γεωργίου με την επωνυμία «Ο Δυσουρήτης», αναφερόμενη σ’ αυτές τις ιδιότητες του Αγιάσματος. Σύμφωνα με την παράδοση το Αγίασμα ρέει από τα τέλη του 10ου αι., εποχή κατά την οποία κατέφθασε θαυματουργικώς η εφέστιος εικόνα του Αγ. Γεωργίου.
At the edge of the beach and next to a rock, the Agiasma of Ag. Georgiou. It is brackish - acidic water that springs from rock and gravel and has healing properties for dysuria, kidney disease, bile, etc.
In fact, in the old Katholikon there is a fresco of St. Georgiou with the name "O Dysouritis", referring to these properties of Agiasma. According to tradition, Agiasma has been flowing since the end of the 10th century, a time when the epitaph icon of Ag. Georgiou.
