Ι	Ιωάννης Χρήστου on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Δεν μπορεί να μην εντυπωσιαστεί με την πρώτη ματιά ο οποιοσδήποτε επισκέπτης έρθει σε αυτό το μέρος. Η τοπογραφία που δίνει ύψος στον ιερό ναό, το άλσος από πίσω ως φόντο και τα μεγέθη που στην αντίληψη τους και μόνο προκαλούν ίλιγγο δεν είναι τα μοναδικά που επιβάλλονται στο χώρο. Η αρχιτεκτονική του Ιερού Ναού μοναδική . Χρειάστηκε να ανοίξω τρεις πόρτες μέχρι να βρω την κυρία είσοδο (η έκπληξη του χώρου με έκανε να τα χάσω και να πάω από την πίσω πλευρά). Το οικοδόμημα εκτείνεται σε δύο επίπεδα, αλλά το ύψος και ο τρόπος που έχει κτιστεί δίνει την εντύπωση μαζί με τους πολλούς τρούλους και τα καμπαναριά για τέσσερα επίπεδα. Βυζαντινά κεραμίδια και επίστρωση πέτρας είναι τα δύο κύρια υλικά. Οι παρά πολλές καμάρες, οι πέντε μεγάλοι σταυροί που φαίνονται από τη νότια πλευρά και τα πολλά μικρά παράθυρα τεμαχίζουν τις μεγάλες διαστάσεις του ναού ώστε να γίνεται ευκολότερα αντιληπτός. Εδώ η φωτογράφιση απαιτεί ευρυγώνιο φακό. Ακόμα και οι πανοραμικές φωτογραφίες φαίνονται μικρές. Αν χρησιμοποιούνταν φιλμ θα χρειάζονταν δεκάδες μέτρα. Η εκκλησία κατασκευασμένη σε ρυθμό βασιλικής με τρούλο δεν στερείται λαμπρότητας ακόμα και στους εξωτερικούς χώρους που είναι στρωμένοι με λευκό μάρμαρο και περίτεχνες παραστάσεις. Οι μεταλλικές πόρτες, βαριές, αρχοντικές, σίγουρα αποπνέουν βυζαντινή δόξα. Ο ναός είναι ακόμα υπό κατασκευή και εγκαινιάστηκε το 2012. Στον προαύλιο χώρο υπάρχει ο τάφος του Ιερέως Ιωάννη Ξεν. Μπάμπουρα (1889-1944) και ο μικρότερος και παλαιότερος ναός. Η μνήμη του ΟσίουΙωάννου του Καλυβίτου τιμάται στις 15 Ιανουαρίου. Άγιε του Θεού πρέσβευε υπέρ ημών! It can not fail to impress at first glance any visitor who comes to this place. The topography that gives height to the sanctuary, the grove from behind as a background and the sizes that in their perception alone cause dizziness are not the only ones imposed on the space. The architecture of the Holy Temple is unique. I had to open three doors until I found the main entrance (the surprise of the place made me lose them and go from the back). The building extends on two levels, but the height and the way it is built gives the impression along with the many domes and bell towers for four levels. Byzantine tiles and stone paving are the two main materials. The many arches, the five large crosses seen from the south and the many small windows cut the large dimensions of the temple to make it easier to understand. Here photography requires a wide angle lens. Even panoramic photos look small. If film were used it would take tens of meters. The church built in the style of a basilica with a dome does not lack splendor even in the outdoor areas that are paved with white marble and ornate representations. The metal doors, heavy, manorial, certainly exude Byzantine glory. The church is still under construction and was inaugurated in 2012. In the courtyard there is the tomb of the Priest Ioannis Xen. Babouras (1889-1944) and the smallest and oldest church. The memory of Saint John of Kalivitos is commemorated on January 15. Holy God intercede for us!
