You will not spend very much time here, unless you plan a dinner or an overnight stay. The streets and views are simply stunning!

Τα τάματα των πιστών Χριστιανών γύρω από τη θαυματουργή εικόνα, αποδεικνύουν τη μεγάλη βοήθεια που έχει προσφέρει ο Άγιος σε όσους τον είχαν ανάγκη. Στον Ναό σώζονται εικόνες των μέσων του 19ου αιώνα. Τα γύρω σοκάκια με την πέτρα και το μεγάλο δέντρο ακριβώς δίπλα στην Εκκλησία, προσφέρουν στον ταξιδιώτη ένα υπέροχο τοπίο, που σε τραβά να παραμείνεις. Ο σημερινός Ναός του Αγίου Παντελεήμωνος, στην κεντρική πλατεία του χωριού, ανηγέρθη στα 1914, αμέσως σχεδόν μετά την απελευθέρωση της περιοχής. Αντικατέστησε παλαιότερο Ναό, στην ίδια θέση (ίσως των μέσων της δεκαετίας του 1850), που ήταν κτισμένος ως μεταβυζαντινή τρίκλιτη βασιλική. Δυστυχώς, δεν έχει εντοπίστεί κάποια φωτογραφία του προγενεστέρου αυτού ναού. Η απόφαση για την εκ βάθρων ανακαίνιση του παλαιοτέρου ναού λαμβάνεται την επομένη της Απελευθερώσεως, σύμφωνα με το πνεύμα του ενθουσιασμού και πατριωτικής ανατάσεως, που η Ελευθερία συνεγείρει. Την εποχή αυτή στο χωριό υπάρχουν δύο Ιερείς: ο οικονόμος Παπα‐Αθανάσιος Οικονόμου, ή Παπαοικονόμου (υιός του επίσης οικονόμου Παπα‐Νικόλα), μακεδονομάχος και στενός συνεργάτης του επισκόπου Παρθενίου, και ο σακελλάριος Παπα‐Γεώργιος Τζιουβάρας. Οι Δεσποτικές εικόνες του σημερινού ναού, καθώς και η πλειοψηφία των εικόνων στα Αποστολικά, προέρχονται από τον προγενέστερο αυτόν ναό, χρονολογούνται δε (βάσει των αναθηματικών επιγραφών) από το 1866. Η χρηματοδότηση του έργου επετεύχθη κυρίως από την συγκέντρωση εράνου μεταξύ των Παντελεημονιτών μεταναστών στην Αμερική (ΗΠΑ), ποσού ίσου περίπου, με 1.000 οθωμανικές λίρες. Το πρότυπό του νέου Ναού αναζητήθηκε, σύμφωνα με την παράδοση, στον τότε Άγιο Αχίλλειο, μητροπολιτικό ναό της Λάρισας. The Holy Temple of Agios Panteleimon is chosen by many to pray to Agios Panteleimon, in order to overcome the health problems they face. Icons of the middle of the 19th century are preserved in the Temple. The surrounding alleys with stone and the big tree right next to the Church, offer the traveler a wonderful landscape, which pulls you to stay. The current Church of Agios Panteleimonos, in the central square of the village, was built in 1914, almost immediately after the liberation of the area. It replaced an older church, on the same site (probably in the mid-1850s), which was built as a post-Byzantine three-aisled basilica. Unfortunately, no photograph of this former temple has been found. The decision for the thorough renovation of the older church is taken the day after the Liberation, in the spirit of enthusiasm and patriotic uplift that Eleftheria awakens. At this time in the village there are two priests: the treasurer Papa ‐ Athanasios Oikonomou, or Papaikonomou (son of the also treasurer Papa ‐ Nikola), Macedonian warrior and close associate of Bishop Parthenios, and the sacramental Pope. Georgios Tziouvaras. The Despotic icons of the present church, as well as the majority of the icons in the Apostolic Church, come from this earlier church, and date (based on the votive inscriptions) from 1866. The financing of the project was achieved mainly by raising funds among the Panteleimon immigrants in America (USA), approximately equal to 1,000 Ottoman pounds. The model of the new Church was sought, according to tradition, in the then Saint Achilles, metropolitan church of Larissa.

Houses with traditional stones and beautiful flowers, fresh air from mountain and the square and small streets full of traditional products and herbs from mountain and local sweets or delicious dishes. Absolutely must visit place in this area.
