★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πρόσβαση υπάρχει απο 2 δρομους: Ο ενας (απο Χαλκό) ειναι ασχημος χωματοδρομος ενώ ο δευτερος (απο επαχ. δρομο Κυθηρων) ειναι στρωμένος με άσφαλτο και τσιμέντο.
Access is from 2 roads: One (from Halko) is an ugly dirt road while the second (from the commercial road of Kythira) is paved with asphalt and cement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Αξίζει να το δείτε!!Μπροστά είναι εκκλησάκι και προχωρώντας βλέπεις το σπήλαιο.Υπάρχει στο βάθος ένα μικρό δρομάκι που μπορείς να εξερευνήσεις στο σπήλαιο.
It is worth seeing !! In front there is a small church and as you go you see the cave. In the background there is a small alley that you can explore in the cave.

Ένα μικρό εκκλησάκι μέσα σε ένα σπήλαιο με τους σταλακτίτες και νυχτερίδες στο βάθος. Πολύ ενδιαφέρον για όσους βρεθούν στην περιοχή!
Unique experience! The road when you come from Kapsali is fine for a public car.
A small church inside a cave with stalactites and bats in the background. Very interesting for those who are in the area!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Παναγία Κακαβιώτισα V2.0 για όσους ξέρουν από Λήμνο. Ένα πανέμορφο ασκεπές εκκλησάκι χτισμένο στην είσοδο ενός μικρού σπηλαίου με σταλακτίτες και σταλαγμίτες. Το αυτοκίνητο κατεβαίνει μέχρι την είσοδο, αν και όσα δεν είναι τύπου τζιπ ή SUV θα δυσκολευτούν λίγο από τον κακοτράχαλο δρόμο. Πάρτε φακό για το σπήλαιο, δεν υπάρχει φωτισμός.
Panagia Kakaviotisa V2.0 for those who know from Lemnos. A beautiful empty church built at the entrance of a small cave with stalactites and stalagmites. The car goes down to the entrance, although those that are not jeeps or SUVs will have a little difficulty from the rough road. Take a flashlight for the cave, there is no lighting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all, in case you are coming from Kalamos you will find a 1km dirt road, that can be tricky at certain points. From Kapsali side, the road is paved.
In regards to the cave, it was a surprise, first because not only the church is open, but also the cave itself is visitable.
The nowadays church, stands on top of a Neolithic site. You can also check further information on the archaeological museum in Hora.
