San Nicolas Resort Hotel - Epar.Od. Lefkas - Vasilikis

Great hotel, the rooms were a little bit out dated though. The view and the pool is very beautiful. The service is impeccable and the people that are working at the hotel are very nice. You need a car to explore the island.

Everything was just great! I liked everything. It was quiet, the beach was very good, the view was beautiful, the room was big and it was so clean! I don't have words to describe it!

Stayed in one of the suites (Penelope) and loved having a small front veranda complete with 2 sun loungers, perfect way to enjoy the stunning view of the cove. The room is a bit small to call a suite, however I didn't have a care about this considering the beautiful outdoor space. The beach-side area is tremendous, absolutely loved the large quantity of comfortable sun loungers perfect on decks above the sea. There are two ways in the ocean, one in a sandy beach corner, and another with a ladder. Honestly great and truly beautiful water. Nice little beach bar is convenient. The check-in desk couldn't be more friendly, amazing Greek hospitality and no bureaucracy on check-in, truly felt like we stayed with friends. Room for improvement? The restaurant. We gave it two tries but unfortunately I wouldn't rate it above 2/3*. The steak was weirdly inconsistent, what we received one day was totally different days later. The first was good and second was not eatable, overcooked and tasteless (and ordered rare). The menu is just strange - keep it Greek, people would love that! Why not more grilled fish, seafood, souvlaki? The Greek salad is amazing but it goes downhill very quickly from there. The prices aren't justified at all, sadly. Such a missed opportunity considering the setting. Really hoping the hotel addresses this. Would love to come back!

The staff were available, very friendly & helpful. The pool area and facilities were immaculately clean and very well maintained. The food was delicious and the views from the poolside balcony are amazing! I didn't have the opportunity to sample everything the hotel had to offer but from own my personal experience I would give move than 5 stars if I could!

After a phone reservation for the restaurant (we used to visit the place regularly since few year) we were with long time friend looking forward to have a good time and meal together. 40 degree outside, it was time for a good press orange juice ... but rather than enjoying our time, we were impolitely asked to go away as we didn't have the good "dress code" ... no communication when making a reservation on morning and even on the restaurant on this new regulation (a friend of mine was there in short a week earlier ... so even it is a new regulation even it us being discriminate), just a rude manager asking us to go away ...

Price was on the higher side and needed more sun beds, got our room wrong first night but did give us another room and credited the balance between it. The room tax tried pulling a fast one saying it could be only done by cash this isn’t true and accepted card.

We had such a fabulous time at San Nicolas Hotel this past week and would love to return. The views from the hotel are amazing and the rooms and facilities top-notch. Staff are so friendly and helpful and keep everything in spotless condition. We recommend having a meal or two in the hotel restaurant as food was good and the view is really special. Breakfast was very good also. There are also two excellent tavernas within a 5 minute walk. The pool and beach facilities are lovely and a highlight of our trip was renting a boat to explore the island of Meganisi and its surroundings. Lefkada is such a beautiful island with so much to explore - we couldn't recommend it more highly.

A charming hotel, clean and spacious rooms, the view is breathtaking and the breakfast is beautiful and varied. We had a feeling they could put a kettle and coffee, how much income the hotel lose from such a small treat? today in all hotels it is standard. The staff is kind, there is only one thing that was very very strange and unpleasant. We were Inform at the check-in that food or drinks not purchased at the hotel are not allowed. When of course the prices are accordingly! This is an inappropriate request in my opinion...
