★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ιστορικός ιερός ναός που τιμάται στο όνομα της Αγίας μεγαλομαρτυρος Βαρβάρας, στον ομώνυμο οικισμό. Βρίσκεται επί της εθνικής οδού Ηρακλείου τυμπακιου και συγκεντρώνει πλήθος πιστών ανήμερα της εορτής της. Η έλλειψη χώρου στάθμευσης είναι το μόνο πρόβλημα, αξίζει όμως ο περαστικος να σταματήσει εδώ.
Historic holy temple that is honored in the name of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara, in the homonymous settlement. It is located on the national road Heraklion Timbakiou and gathers a large number of believers on the day of its celebration. Lack of parking is the only problem, but it's worth stopping by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Άνοιξε ξανά η κίνηση μέσα από το χωριό της Αγίας Βαρβάρας. Δεν είναι μόνο τα επιβατικά και τα αγροτικά... είναι τα λεωφορεία, τα φορτηγά και ο δρόμος παλιός και στενός. Παρκάρουν και στις άκρες... παλιά συνήθεια !!! Τόσα χρόνια περίμεναν όλοι να ολοκληρωθεί το έργο του περιφερειακού δρόμου έξω από το χωριό αυτό, ώστε να μπορεί κάποιος εύκολα, γρήγορα και με ασφάλεια να φτάσει στις Μοίρες σε μισή ώρα. Είπαν ότι ολοκληρώθηκε, ανακούφιση για όσους πηγαινοέρχονται ...
Όμως....
Άνοιξε - έκλεισε !!!
Κακοτεχνίες ή λανθασμένη επιλογή...
Ο παλιός δρόμος φέρνει ζωή στο χωριό, θέλει όμως προσοχή για να μην πάρει και ζωές λόγω της μεγάλης κυκλοφορίας...
The traffic opened again through the village of Agia Varvara. It is not only the passenger and the rural ... it is the buses, the trucks and the road old and narrow. They park at the edges ... old habit !!! For so many years, everyone waited for the construction of the ring road outside this village to be completed, so that one could easily, quickly and safely reach Moires in half an hour. They said it was over, relief for those coming and going ...
Nevertheless....
Open - close !!!
Defects or wrong choice ...
The old road brings life to the village, but it needs attention so as not to take lives due to the heavy traffic ...
