Sarantis Hotel - Χανιώτη

The worst hotel I've ever seen. At 8:30 in the morning, we woke up to the noise of the cleaners in the next room, the next morning the cleaning of the next room was done in the same way and woke up to the noise of the cleaners. We warned the cleaners and they complained to the hotel owner for warning the cleaners. The hotel owner disturbed us by coming to our door and insistently knocking on our door and defending the cleaners while he was trying to sleep in the thunder. At 8:30 in the morning he argued that the cleaning sounds were very normal. After a long discussion, he started shouting at us and we couldn't stand to stay at the hotel even though we had 1 more day and we left early. Also, although the hotel has a private car park they did not let us use it. At a location with parking problem. We had to park our car 700 meters away every day. Rooms are not cleaned enough. Although we normally choose a double bed, they provided 2 single beds. Breakfast is also very poor. There's nothing that can be held by hand. Definitely do not recommend. Lousy establishment, lousy hotel. You can choose if you want to have a bad customer experience.

Great hotel. Extremely nice staff, English speaking. Perfect renovated rooms. Very good breakfast much above average for Greece. Excellent wifi. Strongly recommend!

I highly recommend it! we had a great time! Breakfast was just perfect with big variety and fresh products. Very clean pool with the advantage to be with salt water! The rooms were spotless and renovated. The location was spot on. Bars and restaurants were very close. The service was excellent. All covid-19 protocols were followed. Thank you for wonderful holidays.❤️

Great hotel. Rooms are clean and new. Ideal place for vacation. Air condition works excellent. Rooms are cleaning almost every day. Very quiet place (excepr our little son :) ) For any question and help there are mr.Sarantis and Georgia. Swimming pool and around area is so clean and water is warm and the girl who works there like waitress is so kind. Breakfast is great, maybe one more juice flavor will be good (except orange :) ) Of course, like everywhere you have some rules to respect and that is normal. So, its 5 stars from us, and i hope that we will se again. Nina, Petar and Aleksej

Very friendly and kind people working there. Good breakfast and clean rooms. Close to the beach and city center, but far enough away so it's not loud in the evenings. Can highly recommend Sarantis if you're staying in Chaniotis.

A great host, good breakfast and clean rooms, i recommend it even though it is not the closest to the beach because you will surely visit other beaches in Kassandra, and it is very easy to get on the main road from this hotel

We stayed here in early September. The overall impression is good. It's a family business and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The room is simple, with aircon, hairdryer and TV, plenty of sockets, usb sockets - which is a nice touch if you don't have or can't use your phone charger due to different socket pins. They changed the towels every 4 days, although a cleaner came every day to empty the garbage bins and provide a fresh foot towel. I would probably add an extra towel hook or ring for the face towels. Like many other hotels, they provide 2 single beds instead of one double bed, which is fine as long as you're using a joining frame or at least a belt or strap to wrap around the mattresses, as the beds can move apart during the night. I would also change the head board, as it was fit in the wall and you would need an extra pillow if you need to sit on the bed and lean your head against the wall to relax. We were able to park our car on the street as it was not so busy, however I would imagine that during high season parking might be tricky. Breakfast is served at 8.30, so if you're planning to go sightseeing or go to the beach earlier you might want to book your room without breakfast included. The hotel is within walking distance from the town centre, the beach and all the restaurants and gift shops. There is a petrol station opposite the road and the bus stop within 2 min walk (if you need it). The owner was very friendly and recommended a few places to see and beaches to go to.

Nice hotel 350 m from town center. Rooms are larger than I expected from 3 star hotel. Modern furniture, nice modern bathroom, LCD TV, air-conditioning, fridge, sink, kitchen cabinets, deacent size terrace with side walls to protect privacy. Rooms are very clean, towels are changed every day. The garden, pool and restaurant are also immaculate. The hotel owners are sincerely kind and ready to help with information and recommendations. At this hotel you get what you paid for, so I can recommend it to anyone who wants to spend their holidays in Hanioti and wants a hotel in this price range.
