★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can you say about Archelon Sea Turtle Rescue Center? Sea turtles mate! How did I get there? A pair of them strapped to my feet! Don't forget to call before you visit the place to ask about visiting hours and for a guide that speaks your language.
And please, please, please remember that every rehabilitating sea turtle in the Rescue Center, needs every day food and medicine, beyond good thoughts!
And give a big happy smile to the volunteers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such informative staff, really enjoyed the mini tour and the talk that was given. Made me sad to hear the stories of how some people mis-treat these wonderful creatures but I am happy that they have such a fantastic facility to help rehabilitate them. Fantastic work guys and keep it up!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A working sea turtle rescue center. Informative guided tour, very friendly. A little sad to see injured Turtles but nice to know they have a place that cares for them. It was all free. The place survives on donations so we bought some things from gift shop, which all seemed if decent quality.

The volunteers gave us a very nice and instructive tour where we had the chance to learn a lot about sea tutles and about the precious work that Archelon is undertaking. Thank you for everything guys and a big applause to all the volunteers that make this rescue center possible. Looking forward to contribute more and I encourage everybody to visit the center, check the website and help them to continue with this amazing task!❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this place by chance after taking a tram trip down to the coast. On going in we were met by one of the volunteers who gave us a personal tour which was very informative. There is a small exhibition showing the migratory patterns of turtles detected by GPS tracking, and a selection of fish hooks and other objects which they have extracted from turtles' stomachs. They take in sick and injured turtles which are found by coast guards and rehabilitate them.
