The sailing was excellent and such was also a boat (Oceanis 45 - Indroussa). However while leaving a boat - officer responsible for check of the boat - Konstantin was trying to prove that the heads (toilets) are blocked and was trying to get money for the cleaning from me. It was an obvious lie. The heads were working correctly all week and also during the last check. I told him not to play the games like this. He played the whole game (theater) to show that the toilets are blocked. Tha is why I do not recommend the company.

Seafarer.gr (don't mix it with Seafarer.uk) is a good charter company with fare prices. But because it is a small company, you may find yourself waiting for one of the staff to come to the marina. they compensate you for that with a warm and friendly service and a big smile.

We had chartered a 50 ft. Bavaria (built 2006) this September from them. very bad condition, no help! The electric equipment was unreliable and corroded, many, too many equipment elements defect, adventurous (small, narrow, used) passerella, different from the picture we had redeived. The main sail was mounted improperly and in a sudden storm we had a very difficult situation to manage - they are not willing to pay for the repair. It's unfortunately in most cases the same with those ships. You pay, they don't care, you want to have happy holidays and not be stuck for bad boats - they know and use that ...

Terrible, very very bad, STAY AWAY!!! We chartered a Beneteau Oceanis 41.6 called Filia. The boat was in very bad condition, dirty and most of electrical equipment didn't work. They charged the deposit twice and still havent returned any of them!!!!. Fresh water pump didn't work, so no showers nor dish washing. The stove was so corroded that the gas wouldnt come out, so no cooking at all. There was a big gas leak in the gas locker due to a corroded gas regulator. DANGEROUS!!!! They provided a phone charger that didn't work and so we couldn't use our phones to navigate on Navionics as also the yacht's navigation system wasnt working properly. We were supposed to have a nice chilled weekend, but ended up spending more time trying to fix the issues then enjoying our time onboard. At the end we had to return the boat 1 day before schedule due to the issues. NO refunds were made and the company, brokers and yacht owner refused to talk about it. I'M VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, FOR THE SAKES OF YOUR SAFETY AND MONEY.

We chartered a 46ft Bavaria with Seafarer in summer of 2020 from the Lefkada base. Seafarer is a broker and as such, they don't actually have a base at Lefkas or anywhere, they just have an office somewhere. As a result, the quality of the service is not controlled and while we tried our best to arrange for our charter, half of it fell apart. The problems at the base were plenty and dangerous, ranging from a check-in process that happened without inventory, to a poorly cleaned boat and malfunctioning equipment. Thankfully, none of those issues stood in the way of us having a great experience. We also asked for and triple confirmed with Seafarer that we required an additional 50m floating line, the line was not on the boat. However, after our charter, when we presented the issues to Seafarer with photos and the facts, their response, after 2 weeks, was to thwart all issues, reject that there ever was any problem and furthermore insult us by stating that we were inexperienced (we've been sailing for 15 years and participated in multiple regattas, but that's beyond the point). Obviously, Seafarer lacks the experience, skills and decency to handle a client's complaints or take any feedback on the services they provide. Regardless of the merits of the complaints. Let alone when the complaints are presented with photographic evidence and undeniable facts. We will never work with brokers in the future, that is one lesson hard learned.

In 2011 we've booked a LAGOON 450 from Seafarer Sailing...ever since we book a catamaran every summer and we are exploring Greece! This year they suggested us to their new base in Nikiti-Chalkidiki and we can't wait to go back to a new Greek paradise. Seafarer... thank you for your excellent service all those years. We have tried other agencies in the past but no-one compares to you! See you soon!!! Matilda & Steve
